048. AN UNEXPECTED HOMECOMING

Chapter forty eight

"An unexpected homecoming." 

It was homecoming, as Beatrix was looking through her closet, Bonnie was on her bed looking at pictures "do we have to go to homecoming neither you, me or Elena have a date." she shared, as Beatrix grabbed five dresses from her closet, she walked out "yes, Bonnie, because like you told me when Damon had killed Klaus that sitting inside as boring and what's even lower then that is and hanging out with our history teacher and over analyzing ancient hieroglyphics, were teenagers. And this dance is one in a very long time that nothing will go wrong at and I want it to be special for Caroline so we all have to go." she shared, as she threw the dresses on her bed.

"Speaking of Elena, why isn't she here?" Bonnie asked her "because Elena's brother is Jermey and since he broke up with you, I was giving you free reign to trash him as much as you want." Beatrix shared, as Bonnie put the pictures down "I'm not gonna trash him. He fell in love with his ghost girlfriend and lied about it. What's done is done." she shared, getting off the bed, Beatrix hummed "yes, which is why you're gonna look at these dresses and tell me which one screams, I am Bonnie Bennett and I don't need a man to make myself happy." she shared.

Bonnie chuckled, linking her arm with hers as she put her hand on her shoulder "I didn't wanna admit it but I did enjoy throwing Jermey into the wall with all of you guys." she shared, making Beatrix chuckle, as she squeezed her arm "we're gonna have a good time tonight, Bonnie. Just you and me, witchy best friends." she told her, leaning her head on top of Bonnie's.

That night, Beatrix, Bonnie and Caroline stood outside of the school with everyone else, although when they got closer to the front, they police and construction men putting barricades up as water was flowing, all three of their eyes were wide, as Tyler walked up to them "what happened?" Caroline asked "the gyms flooded. The dance is cancelled." Tyler told them "what? No, no, Tyler! This was supposed to be the one dance that nothing goes wrong!" Beatrix voiced "at least it wasn't vampire havoc. Just our schools bad sprinkler system." Bonnie shared "what are we supposed to do now!" Caroline voiced.

As Tyler smiled, looking at all three of them "we could move the party to my house." he suggested "really?" Beatrix asked, as Tyler nodded "oh my gosh!" Beatrix voiced, throwing her arms around him, Tyler caught her as he chuckled, Caroline walked off to call Elena.

When Beatrix, Bonnie and Caroline walked up the steps to Tyler's, there seemed to be a lot more people here then just there school "how did he plan a better party then me so fast?" Caroline asked, as the three looked around "what, is that a band outside?" Caroline asked as they saw flashing lights from the backyard "who are all these people?" Bonnie asked "this is weird. Caroline you go find Tyler, I'll stay with Bonnie." Beatrix shared "yeah." Caroline told her, walking off "let's go find something to drink." Beatrix told her, grabbing Bonnie's hand as she began walking the two further into the party.

Where the two had a few bears, as the two were walking outside, Beatrix gasped seeing the homecoming queen, she turned looking at Bonnie then back at her "no, no, Beatrix.." Bonnie told her, as Beatrix handed her, her beer, she walked over to the homecoming queen, putting her hands on her shoulders "your no longer the homecoming queen. My best friend Bonnie is seeing as she need's it tonight more than you do, cause you see her boyfriend cheated on her, it was awful." she shared, as the homecoming queen brought her hands up to her head and took off the crown, Beatrix took it from her and turned putting it on Bonnie's head.
