Chapter sixty seven
"A long way for it to amount in death."
Professor Shane was leading the way, as Beatrix walked in between Bonnie and Jermey, as the one who had captured him walked behind them, as they were no longer in the woods, but walking up a trail toward's the mountains, as they climbed up them, they soon headed into a cave, where in front of them was a big hole that lead somewhere "this is as far as I go." the one who kidnapped Jermey shared "we're on the brink..of a monumental event in human history. We're gonna raise the most powerful immortal creature that ever was. Come on, our works not done yet." professor Shane told him.
"Mine is. You said get the kid and the witches found their own way here. I wanna get paid now." the man shared, as Silas grabbed his bag and opened it, he pulled out the headstone and walked it over to the man and as he handed it to him, the man then looked to the three of them "I'll say a prayer for your souls." he told them, as he turned walking out "so that's what the tombstone was for. I was wondering why a rock was important clearly it's not." Beatrix shared "a quart of that tombstone is made up of Qetsiyah's calcified blood. In some witch circles, that stones more valuable than the hope diamond so.." professor Shane shared, as he walked around Bonnie, standing behind Beatrix, he pushed her in, Beatrix screamed, falling all the way down, she soon landed on the floor hard, getting knocked out.
Lying down there, Beatrix groaned, her head was bleeding along with her hands, as she moved her hands around, she felt the ground below them, as she began to push herself, sitting on her knee's, she looked around her still not being able to see anything, so when someone reached their hands out to her, she jumped back "hey, hey, easy, to contrary belief your safer down here with me then you are up there." she heard Stefan's voice, and as she did, she furrowed her brows, recalling the visions she saw before she went blind but specifically the man that looked like Stefan and she knew it wasn't him, it couldn't be, not down here "Silas." she stated.
Missing how the man smirked "granddaughter." he told her, holding his hand out "now how about you take my hand and we get this started before your friends come down here." Silas told her, and as he did, Beatrix found herself holding her hands out and putting them in his as he pulled her up "you look so much like her. Probably even more if you had your eyes." Silas shared "for someone who's supposed to be all evil, you're being quite kind." Beatrix shared "well, we're family and someone need's to tell you to give into that true side of yourself that you're so afraid before this thing that you've become, that you were never supposed to be takes you over." Silas shared.
And as he did, Beatrix furrowed her brows "how do I do that?" she asked, but as she did, the sound of feet hitting the ground filled her ears, as Silas disappeared from in front of her "hey, who you talking to?" Jermey asked her, as Beatrix spun toward's him, bringing her hand up to her head "I, um..I hit my head." she told him, chuckling, as she walked toward's him, Jermey looked at all the cuts on her "yeah, it must've been a hard fall even for a vampire." he shared, as Beatrix winced "not exactly your normal vampire, Jermey." she told him, as Jermey nodded "I'm starting to catch on to that." he pointed out, as Bonnie came down, she slipped and fell, as the two turned to her "you okay?" Jermey asked her.
"Yeah, I just slipped." Bonnie shared "on my blood probably. I was bleeding out for a while before I woke up." Beatrix shared, as Bonnie pulled her hand up "and now so is Bonnie." Jermey shared "not funny Jermey." Bonnie told him, as she took off her glove, Jermey began bandaging her hand "so, when do we kill him?" Beatrix asked, looking up at the hole, knowing professor Shane couldn't hear them, Jermey laughed helping Bonnie up "we're not killing him, Beatrix." Bonnie told her "he pushed her down a hole, I'd say she deserves at least a little snack." Jermey shared, as Beatrix chuckled, Bonnie scoffed "and I thought you were the vampire hunter?" she asked.
