076. WELCOME TO THE PHOENIX

Chapter seventy six

"Welcome to the phoenix."

It had been a whole summer, where since Elena and Damon had turned their relationship into an all time high, Beatrix had told Jermey that he could move into her house, which was in a way needed, seeing as she still hadn't packed up her mom and her grams things and now was a time to do so, where her and Jermey spent the first few weeks doing that, then they were picking out the new furniture for his room seeing as he was moving into her mother's old room.

Where when the two were done with that they spent their time drinking and crying, and more drinking over the fact that they were the only one's truly new Bonnie was dead except for Stefan and Damon, where the two lied and told everyone Bonnie was traveling with her mom and meanwhile Caroline was preparing to go off to college where Beatrix was thanking her witch heritage that she didn't have to move in with her or else she would be talking about what color scheme she wanted her side of the room to be.

But it seemed Matt was having the best time out of all of them seeing as while her and Jermey drank they would look at his postcards from him and Rebekah and make fun and reenact what they would potentially be doing with each other.

Where right now Beatrix was packing up her clothes to take with her to college, as Jermey sat on her bed "dear, Elena." he said "wait. Don't start with dear." Bonnie told him "it's bad enough you'e dead. Now, you're a control freak?" Jermey asked, as Beatrix huffed, turning to him "seriously? She's here! How is that fair to me!" she voiced "it's not." Jermey told her "Jermey, it's not my my fault she can't see me. It's our heritage. But I'm just saying, people don't say dear anymore." Bonnie shared "just say, hey, Elena, what's up? Although we fully know what's up seeing as her and Damon have probably been having sex all summer." Beatrix shared.

As Jermey raised his brows "well look on the bright side, Elena forced fed Katherine the cure now she's walking around somewhere forced to be an actual human being for a change." he shared "human being or decrepit old lady? Cause I'm sure my own grandmother looked better then she does right now." Beatrix shared, as her and Jermey laughed.

That night, Jermey had gone upstairs and to bed and as he did, Beatrix walked downstairs, holding a box in her hands, she headed into the living room and as she did, the candles all around the pentagram lit up, as she stepped into the middle of it, she sat down and began taking the contents of the box out, where the first thing happened to be one of Stefan's shirts, the other a glass he had drank from, the next was one of his journals and the last thing was one of his pillows from his room.

Which were all thing she had been collecting all summer without Damon and Elena knowing seeing as she used her magic to get in and out, where the nights she would get Jermey drunk were just a distraction so he could go to sleep and she could do magic, having used each of these items on their own to try and find him but they never worked so now that she had collected so many she'd hoped that they all would give her something, some sort of sign on where Stefan had been all summer, cause she knew he wouldn't leave without saying goodbye, at least not to her.

Taking a deep breath, she grabbed the box and moved it out of the circle and turned back, holding her hands, she closed her eyes and began to conjure all the objects as the candles glowed brighter, she then she saw it.

Stefan was under water his eyes closed and when he woke up, he began banging his hand on a safe as he began intaking water, choking, over and over until he passed out.

The next morning, Beatrix had taken her stuff which was mostly just two suitcases over to the Salvatore boarding house as they were waiting for Caroline to show up, Elena was talking to Jermey as Damon stepped toward's Beatrix "so, how was your summer?" he asked her, as Beatrix looked to him "it was fine. Drunk Jermey's not as much of a pain in the ass as sober Jermey but just don't tell Elena." she shared, as Damon raised his brows "well you having him move into your home kept him from ruining my amazing summer so thank you." he shared.
