126. THE MAN YOU NEVER WANTED TO SEE AGAIN

Chapter one hundred and twenty six

"The man you never wanted to see again."

Having dropped Valerie off at a motel, Alaric and Beatrix were driving to meet Damon "you could've stayed with Valerie at the motel." Alaric shared, as Beatrix furrowed her brows "and wait with the girl who says she needs to prepare for a spell because she's a second hand witch who can't do magic on her own?" she asked, and as Alaric didn't say anything, Beatrix realized he wasn't telling her that because of the spell but because of the person they were about to spend the day with, as she took a deep breath "I am here for Stefan. That's it. Nothing else matters. And once we're done here and he's back in his own body. We're gonna get on the next plane out of here and go back home to our kids." she shared.

"Okay." Alaric told her, as he parked next to Damon's car, he and Beatrix got out, looking at an ambulance in front of them, the doors opened as Damon walked out, smiling at them "I had improvise. The over the counter stuff wasn't working." he shared, turning around "that's Frank and that's Sully. Hi, guys." he said "hey." Mike said "how you doin?" Sully asked, as Damon looked back at them "I've asked them very politley to make sure that Marty stays alive, and if he doesn't, then I will cut there thumbs off and feed them to the squirrels. Rights, guys?" he asked, looking back at them, the two gave them a thumbs up.

Damon looked back at them "meanwhile, you two and I will go.." he said, as Beatrix raised her brows "actually I'm staying with Stefan." she said, as Damon looked at her with furrowed brows "what?" he asked "well, thanks to the phoenix stone her mind is now linked to Stefan's which means that if anything goes wrong, she'll pass out and wake up ten minutes later." Alaric shared "so, I'm gonna stay here and make sure he stays alive while you go to a frathouse at Memphis college and hope Ambrose hasn't killed everybody yet." Beatrix shared "listen.." Damon was saying, as Beatrix walked around him and climbed into the ambulance shutting the doors behind her.

Where Damon soon called and told the medics the address to the motel where as Sully was driving, Mike stayed in the back, as Beatrix was holding Stefan's hand, Stefan looked at her and when he did, he saw that her hair although it was red again the front two pieces were white as she squeezed his hand, she closed her eyes and when she did, she went into his mind.

Sitting in that same field he left her in all those years ago, Stefan looked around them "you know, when I said it takes being alone to figure out things you didn't know before you going all the way out of your way and getting your soul dragged back to hell and then out of hell into somebody else's body, is not what I meant." Beatrix shared, as Stefan turned looking at her "your here." he told her "I'm here." Beatrix told him, smiling "no, no, you..you shouldn't be here." Stefan shared.

"Well, the whole me diving into your hell to pull you out gifted me with some lovely visions of where the real you was while the other was of the serial killer that is now inhabiting your body so I wasn't about to stand by and watch from the sidelines when I have the ability to fix all of this. Again." Beatrix shared, furrowing her brows "and also you should probably talk to your new girlfriend on her people skills because showing up on my doorstep unannounced and thinking she can call the shots, isn't exactly the best way to meet people you haven't seen in a very long time." she shared.

As Stefan sighed "Valerie." he said, as Beatrix hummed "and don't think Caroline didn't complain to me about your break up.." she shared, as Stefan furrowed his brows "whoa, whoa, she broke up with me! Because we couldn't live in mystic falls and Bonnie checked herself into a psych ward, she wanted to be near the closest person and that person was you and I.." he shared "didn't feel safe even though Rayna Cruz was locked up by the armory where the only reason she even got out was because of Matt. Which by the way, why? What happened?" Beatrix asked, as Stefan sighed "that's a long story." he told her.
