Chapter one hundred and forty five

"Your soul will get split in two."

The next morning, having gone to the armory, Beatrix was sitting in a ring of salt trying to control her magic, where the candles surrounding her were lit up and everything seemed to be working out well, as Josie and Sabrina walked up to her, the ring of salt around her caught on fire, as Beatrix felt like her skin was on fire, she opened her eyes "ah!" she voiced, waving her hands and putting the fire out, she turned to Josie and Sabrina "what did I say!" she voiced "ooh, Sabrina's in trouble, just like the other day." Josie shared, as Sabrina crossed her arms, Beatrix furrowed her brows "what happened the other day?" she asked.

But when she did, Sabrina didn't say anything, as Beatrix stepped out of the circle and crouched down to her, moving her hair out of her face "hey, I'm sorry about yelling, in all honesty I used to freak out with my magic to when I was your girls age. So tell me what happened. It'll be our little secret." she shared "I set the stuffed animal you got us at the carnival on fire." Sabrina shared "well I can tell you that a ring of salt and a stuffed animal isn't as bad as what I did. I lit grandma Winnie's curtains on fire that were like hand crafted from some guy in Italy my mother lost it while my grandma Winnie told me that I was a powerful witch. Which means so are you." Beatrix shared, looking to Josie "and so are you." she told her, as the girls laughed, and hugged her, Beatrix hugged them back.

Where Beatrix had then left them and went to go find Alaric, as he was pouring himself a drink "so..they almost set me on fire." she shared, as Alaric turned to her "what?" he asked 'it's fine, I took care of it and I know you said that we were losing control of our powers but the girls yes maybe because I haven't been around to help teach them but me it's..it's something different like my powers are growing so I guess I am learning to. But I've also been thinking that if there isn't a school for people like us then I need to make one, for all supernaturals. These kids need to know somebody's on their side. And I think that could be me." Beatrix shared.

But before Alaric could say anything else, the front door opened, as the two turned looking down below, seeing Damon and Stefan dragging a knocked out Kai in "sorry. This place had the nearest holding cell." Damon shared, as Alaric and Beatrix glared at Kai "little help?" Damon asked, as Beatrix turned stomping down the stairs.

Having gone into the basement, Damon walked into one of the rooms, throwing Kai down, Beatrix was glaring at him, as Damon looked at her "I think that look is the one where if you'd want to set me on fire I would be." he shared, walking out, the door shut "why is it ever since we met Kai anytime he's back in our lives you seem to be willing to help him out? And I swear if you say Elena, I'm locking you in one of these cells cause it's not gonna cut it." Beatrix shared "well if it means anything you were right, again! Seeing as he handed Elena over to Cade." Damon shared "shocking. The homicidal lunatic betrayed you." Beatrix told him.

As Kai groaned "speaking of." Beatrix said, rolling her eyes as she turned to face him "what you guys need is someone to explain to you what's going on with gemini coven twins. Huh. I feel like there's someone around here who could help you with that, but I just can't quite put my finger on it." Kai shared, imitating a buzzing noise, he soon pointed at himself "these he is. This guy." he told her, as Beatrix turned walking away from him.

Soon, the sun was setting as Sabrina and Josie were in bed, Beatrix sat on the end of it "do we have to go sleep now?" Sabrina asked "if you'd like for the angels to come by and bring you nothing but good dreams and to keep the bad dreams away, yes." Beatrix shared, standing up "now close your eyes and go to sleep." she told them, as Sabrina and Josie did so, Beatrix turned walking out of there.
