Synopsis
The town of mystic falls known for its history from the wars that were fought along with its families that had founded its land, although what some people don't know is that a lot of those families weren't human at all but more on the supernatural side of things.
Where the Forbes were just mostly your basics families along with the Gilbert's and theSalvatore's or at least at the time the Salvatore's were until a certain vampire stepped onto their doorstep named Katherine Pierce who not only brought other vampires with her but also enjoyed to cause trouble in the town.
Especially between the two species being werewolves and witches, where the werewolves were mostly the Lockwoods, the Bennetts weren't the first witches to originate in mystic falls seeing as Emily Bennett came via Katherine, but it was the Black family.
Which at the time was only Winifred Black who had been taught to use magic since she was a young girl thanks to her mother and nobody in town batted eye although Mr Salvatore may have questioned it once or twice because when he would try and raise his hand to his children this teenage witch was always mere steps ahead of him stopping him in the act with her witchcraft where neither Stefan nor Damon knew anything about it seeing as she would wipe their memories.
Which in that time it only gave her strength and wisdom, where she continued to use her powers to create new spells all on her own along with different objects, but thanks to Emily working with Katherine while she thought the two were becoming friends, Emily turned on her and started using her spells to help harm the people in the town.
So she started cooking a plan of her own and using the Salvatore brothers as her helpers although sometimes it was harder then it seemed seeing as Katherine was using them saying she was in love with both of them causing a rift between them, which in a way only drove both Salvatore boys closer to her, where they'd complain about their problems and when they did she could always feel the vampire blood humming through their veins that Katherine had slips them.
So that night when everything went wrong and humans turned on the vampires was when her own plan came into effect and with how strong she was it out weighed Emily Bennetts by ten fold but in the Salvatore's estranged love for a women who compelled them mattered more so they died.
Which was the first time Winifred have even left town, but she did for years perfecting her craft, meeting other witches and overpowering them by the end of the visit, almost everyone knew her name, and soon she met a gentleman and had her own beautiful baby girl named Cassandra, and she taught her everything she knew.
