Chapter fifty

"Enchanted."

It had been a few days, and Beatrix had been in hiding, never leaving her house, even though she knew she was healed, knowing what she could do if she was attacked again, made her scared, so she spent time with her mother fixing the garden that been blown down by the epic rainstorm she had brought in, and working on some smaller spells to at least practice magic, to afraid to do something to drastic since her magic almost killed her, her friends and her family, where as she headed down stairs, she had been wearing that bracelet that Klaus had given her, as she was listening to her voice mail.

"Beatrix, it's Tyler. I tried to be better for you after what I did, tried to have Caroline's dad teach me his tricks both for your sake and everyone else's but it didn't work and her dad ended up turning into a vampire and according to Caroline, I almost killed you, your family, her and Matt and from that rainstorm that blew in after the entirety of Mystic Falls. So I did what I do best, which is ran away. But I don't know if you heard about Caroline's dad seeing as you've probably been doing what you do best which is hiding, but he died. So I'm sorry to not only you but to her. I'm really sorry, Beatrix. I'm out doing what he said, I'm gonna fix myself and come home to you. I meant it when I said I love you." he said.

As Beatrix brought the phone down, she deleted the message, as the sound of someone knocking on the door filled her ears, she continued down the rest of the way and up to the front door, and when she opened it, a big box was there with a card on it "what is it, sweetie?" her mother asked as she walked out of the kitchen, Beatrix picked up the box, lifting up the card that read, Beatrix Black, on it, her mother walked over to her and took the box, as Beatrix opened the card, she noticed her grandmother walking out with a cup of coffee in her hands, as an invitation revealed itself "we've been invited to a ball? By the Mikaelson family." Beatrix shared, flipping the card over, it read, save me a dance, fondly, Klaus.

In which Beatrix chuckled, throwing the letter down on the box "he's insane." she told them, as she took the box back "which one?" her mother asked, raising her brows "funny." Beatrix told her, turning around and walking back upstairs "your not gonna share what's in the box?" her mother asked "nope." Beatrix told them, heading upstairs and down the hall into her room, she walked over to her bed and put the box down, taking the card off of it, she opened the box, a dark purple dress revealed itself, having jewels on the corset top and cascading down the dress or at least from the parts of it she could see from it being folded up, she couldn't help the smile that came across her face.

Having made it to the Mikaelson family home, the three walked up to the door, all wearing capes over their heads, where as the doors opened, Beatrix's mother and grandmother walked in first with Beatrix following behind them, where her mother and grandmother took off their hoods and untied the strings they began taking off as a women came up to them to take them, revealing their black dresses, they noticed that everyone was staring at them, as the two stepped down, they turned around looking up at Beatrix and as they did, Beatrix liftted her gloved hands up, taking off her purple cape, and revealing her pin straight hair, and the dark purple gall gown she was wearing.

In which everyone's eyes, including Stefan, Damon, Kol, Elijah and especially Klaus were all looking at her in awe, where when Beatrix stepped down, the Mikaelson brother's walked toward's her, but Klaus made it there first "good evening." he told her "good evening." Beatrix told him, curtsying, her mother and grandmother smirked at each other as they then took her arms "Klaus." they told him, walking around him, and as they did, Klaus smirked, watching them walk away.

The three were then standing around "uh, if everyone could gather, please." Elijah said as they all turned their heads toward's the stairs and the volume in the room died down along with the music, they all were standing up there, from Kol, Klaus, Rebekah, Elijah and what they could guess as Finn "welcome. Thank you for joining us." Elijah shared, as the three witches noticed a women walking down the stairs "oh no." Beatrix's grandmother said "oh no, what..what do you mean, oh no?" Beatrix's mother asked "witch who's been screwing with Beatrix top of the stairs." Beatrix's grandmother said, drinking her champagne, Beatrix's eyes went wide "we shouldn't be here." she told them.
