The next morning, Beatrix had gone to the Whitmore dorm, walking down the hallway, she found Elena and Bonnie's dorm room "okay, look. Me and Bonnie are just gonna look around campus. Maybe someone's seen her. Just let us know if you find anything, okay?" Elena asked, as Beatrix opened the door "okay I have the worst timing when it comes to coming back to life." she shared, as Elena and Bonnie looked to her "oh my god." Bonnie said "Beatrix?" Elena asked, as Beatrix walked toward's them "how are you?" Elena asked "standing here? Alive? I'm demon witch there's no such thing as death come here." Beatrix shared, holding her arms out, as Elena and Bonnie hugged her.

And as sometime passed, Beatrix was sitting on Bonnie's bed, as Elena had got champagne "wait last time we saw you we had projected into the prison world from here and you were trying to kill yourself?" Bonnie questioned "I did. But my dad showed up and saved me. And gave mer my.." Beatrix was saying "suck it, 1994." Elena said, as she popped the bottle, making Beatrix jump "whew! Ha! So I bought this bottle of champagne the same day Damon and I thought we were gonna rescue you but obviously we didn't," Elena shared, as Bonnie and Beatrix stood up, walking toward's her.

"So I couldn't drink it," Elena shared, holding a glass out to Beatrix "so this is to you. You were stuck there all by yourself while we were back here, living our lives. And this is the worst toast ever." Elena shared, as her and Bonnie had glasses as well "cheers!" Beatrix voiced, as the three clinked their glasses and drank, Beatrix downed her's fast as she grabbed the bottle "so you were saying that Caroline turned off her humanity? Let's all remember that she, um..hates me?" she asked, refilling her glass "she doesn't hate you." Bonnie told her, as the door opened "Caroline. Um, you're here." Elena said.

"And you're perceptive." Caroline shared, walking to her bed and putting bags down "uh, what are you doing?" Elena asked her "starting over. New everything! New sheets, new clothes.  Hey. I even got this. A new blow dryer." Caroline shared, pulling it out "oh, my god! Beatrix is back. Hi. I thought you were trapped in 1994." she shared "I, um, figured it out." Athena shared "huh." Caroline said "uh, we..we've been worried about you, Care." Bonnie told her "you mean, you were worried about those around me, like if I killed them. Ok. Funny story. You remember Liam? Oh. Elena dated this premed hottie but then realized she still had feelings for Damon, so she compelled him to forget that they ever had a thing." Caroline shared, and when she did, Beatrix's eyes went wide, seeing as her sickening feeling the day she helped him escape was correct.

"What did you do to, Liam?" Elena asked "I ate him, and he was delicious. I mean, you know how cute guys just naturally taste better?" Caroline asked "you killed, Liam?" Bonnie asked "ok. Can I tell my story, please?" Caroline asked, and when she did, Beatrix thought of Kai "please tell me that Liam is not dead." Elena shared "fine. So I was feeding, and then that little voice inside my head that tells me to stop, he never piped up." Caroline shared "so you didn't kill him because it would be inconvenient?" Elena asked "Elena, I shut off my humanity. I didn't turn into an idiot. The last thing I want to do is give you a reason to ruin my life." Caroline shared, taking the bottle from Beatrix and drinking from it.

"Huh Stefan was much more pushy." Beatrix realized "oh, Beatrix, how we all just missed your commentary." Caroline shared, as Beatrix ripped the bottle out of her hand "anyway, in return for my good behavior, I want a year where I don't have to feel pain or grief or remorse. You're not gonna lock me in a cell and dry me out, and you're definitely not gonna try to trigger some latent emotion, hoping to snap my humanity back on." Caroline shared.
