Chapter eighty nine

"A dark baptism."

Beatrix was standing in the junkyard and as she looked down, she was wearing a white dress and had no shoes on, where as she stepped forward, she looked at herself in one of the car mirror's she had blood on her forehead, like she would in a sacrifice "Beatrix," a man said, and as he did, Beatrix spun around, having heard that voice in her dream before, she began to breathe heavy, looking around her all her demon witch friends were standing around her "you can't trust these people child." the man said.

As it began pouring rain, Beatrix looked down at her skin, realizing it was blood rain, as she turned seeing all of her friends catching on fire, her eyes went wide, as someone then grabbed her by the shoulders, it was Lilith "the doppelgänger is named Tom Avery, he works at metropolitan hospital. And when they kill the doppelganger they're gonna force you into a dark baptism. You mustn't sign your name away. You cannot give them your power. They know you, Beatrix Constantine are they're eternal downfall!" she voiced

Gasping awake, Beatrix sat up, having fallen asleep next to Stefan on the blanket outside, rain drops were falling down on her, as she looked up at the sky, now being afraid not just for Stefan's but her own life.

Where Beatrix hadn't fallen back to sleep that night, where by the time the travelers woke up, they all began moving again, where as the travelers were up front, the witches walked in the back, where Stefan was watching Beatrix, noticing she was more on edge then she was yesterday as she called Enzo, where it took him a while at first to answer "Atlanta assassination squad. How may we be of service?" Enzo asked "did you find him?" Athena shared "you told us to find a nameless paramedic at the scene of a car accident in a city full of freeways, fried green tomatoes and terrible drivers. It's not exactly as easy as it sounds." Enzo shared.

"It is when you are a demonic witch because last night when I was sleeping his name came to me. Tom Avery. And he just delivered a patient to Atlanta metro hospital." Beatrix shared "we had a deal. I find Stefan's last living doppelganger." Caroline shared "his name is Tom." Beatrix told her "Tom. I take care of Tom, and in return you stop using Stefan to make out and doppelbomb him." Caroline shared "let's not forget who signed up for this? I wanted my witches out there and even after them it would be Enzo and even after that I would've picked Damon before I picked you. So how about you just enjoy the fact that I'm the one doing this compared to Sloan who no doubt will give him a back alley lobotomy to kill him opposed to consent able magic make out session." Beatrix shared, hanging up.

And as she did, Lilith walked up to her with raised brows "someone wants to talk to you." she told her, and as she did, Beatrix jumped remembering her voice from last night, Lilith smirked walking after the rest of them, leaving Beatrix and Stefan in the back "I see you and Caroline still aren't seeing eye to eye." Stefan told her, and as he did, Beatrix shook her head "she's just jealous that I get to make out with you." she shared, as Stefan chuckled, Beatrix joined him "see I missed this." Stefan told her "missed what? Me diving into your brain?" Beatrix asked him "us being friends." Stefan shared.

"Yeah, friends..don't exactly have a lot of those. Seeing as Elena fully outed to Tyler that I slept with Klaus and even after getting bit by him almost destroyed the entirety of mystic falls I decided to stand my ground until I saw the way you looked at me and I just felt..awful." Beatrix shared "and you made yourself invisible." Stefan shared, Beatrix nodded "mm-hmm." she told him "well, you skipped out on the part where I punched Tyler in the face for you and told him you didn't deserve that." Stefan shared, as Beatrix huffed "yeah, but it's like my grams always said we have terrible luck with men. Which brings me to Damon how did he.." she asked him.
