Chapter one hundred and forty one

"Lives are entangled together."

The next morning, Damon was downstairs talking to Stefan while Beatrix was in the kitchen wearing one of his t shirts, she had gotten out everything they needed to make pancakes, as she was mixing the batter together, her head started to hurt "ah!" she voiced, wincing, she saw her grandfather but then she saw Elena's casket then herself lying on the floor dead "ah!" she voiced, dropping the bowl of batter, she ran out of the kitchen, and as she turned the corner, she changed into clothes, as she ran down the hallway and out the front door, knowing exactly what this all meant, Cade was here and he was gonna kill her and Elena.

Where Damon had come upstairs, he was all happy as he walked into the kitchen "Beatrix?" he asked, but stopped when he noticed the stove was left on and the batter was all over the floor, his eyes went wide, as he looked around him "Beatrix!" he voiced, he turned around running out of the kitchen and down the hallway into the basement finding Stefan no longer there "no, no.." he said "my granddaughter's not as strong as she thinks." Cade shared, as Damon turned to him "I disagree on that one because no matter what you told her she would've never let him out of here. So where the hell did he go?" he asked.

"Making up for your disappointing work ethic. I sent him on a task. You're wondering if I'm a hallucination. well, I assure you, I am very real." Cade shared, walking towards him, he put his hand on Damon's shoulder and it felt real "noted. What brings you into town?" Damon asked "upon the Maxwell's bells eleventh ring the boundary to hell broke down for a moment. I took the opportunity to step through and take up residence here. Since my disciples seem to require additional motivation." Cade shared, as Damon turned around "don't think I want to know what you did to motivate Stefan." he shared.

"Fires only one of the tools at my disposal. But he hardly needed prompting to go back to work. And my granddaughter needed a little fear struck into her soul. Now it's your turn to make up the deficit. By sundown tonight, you will kill a hundred people.." Cade shared "here's the thing. I don't really feel like being your terminator anymore." Damon shared "your feelings are non issue. Are arrangement is very clear. Do as I say, and you won't go to hell. Disobey me, and i send you there to stay. So here's your second option. If you object to quantity, I will accept quality instead." Cade shared.

"Quality? Like the queen of England quality?" Damon asked "quality like..Caroline Forbes." Cade told him "oh. Well she's a no fly zone. You know what I mean?" Damon asked "it's completely up to you. Before the sun goes down kill one hundred evil strangers or kill the love of your brother's life." Cade told him, as Damon stared at him.

Meanwhile, Beatrix had taken her grandmother's car, as she was speeding down the road, her phone was ringing, as she picked it up, she saw that Damon was calling her and she knew she couldn't tell him what was happening, as she threw it down, looking back at the road, she passed a sign letting her know that she was in Washington, as she continued to drive.

Where Damon then got Beatrix's voicemail "hey, it's Beatrix, life's crazy so if your calling instead of texting it must be urgent, leave a message." she said, as it beeped, Damon hung up as he walked up to Caroline at the founder's party at the high school "you are supposed to be on Stefan duty." Caroline shared "and I was also supposed to making pancakes with my girlfriend. But Cade's in town. Making Beatrix run off and setting are boy free." Damon shared "what?" Caroline asked "he also told me to kill you." Damon told her "Damon." Caroline told him "of course I have a plan B, blondie." Damon told her, crossing his arms.
