Chapter one hundred and fifteen
"Zombies, I've created vampire zombies."
Worried about what she had done, Beatrix had headed to Alaric's apartment as she opened the door, carrying coffee and two boxes, she walked to the bedroom "I just wanted to come by and give you this and see how things were going." she shared, as Alaric turned to her "I don't know. She's been sleeping for twelve hours. That's normal, right?" he asked "um, when I was resurrected the first time it took a couple weeks till me and grandmother fully decided to wake up so yeah." Athena shared "please tell me that's food?" Alaric asked.
"Coffee, food and the term papers that have been jamming up your in box." Beatrix shared, holding it out "cause I resurrected my dead wife doesn't exactly qualify as a liable reason to not be a professor." she shared, as Alaric stood up walking toward's her "hey, you want a job as my new TA? All you have to do is write, interesting point, in a few margins and then give everyone a B plus." he shared, as he took everything from her "believe me I would love a normal person job. But that B plus might need to stand for Beatrix needs to figure out what that stone really is before it turns into a B minus." Beatrix shared.
"Look. She's here. She's ok. What does it matter now?" Alaric asked her "because if it's wrong I don't want you to get hurt, Alaric. You've been through enough. So can I have the stone?" Beatrix asked him, holding out her hand, Alaric turned around, walking over to the seat, he put boxes down, as he opened a box on the table and pulled out the stone, bringing it over to her and putting it in her hand, Beatrix smiled at him as she turned walking off.
Having headed to mystic falls, Beatrix arrived at the Salvatore boarding house, she walked in and as she did, there wasn't anyone in sight "I'm afraid this house no longer has an open door policy to the local riffraff." Enzo shared "just be glad I used the door. I could've snapped my fingers and been in here and you wouldn't even have noticed." Beatrix shared "should we spend a few minutes catching up before I throw you out? How was your summer holiday? Meet any charming euro hunks?" Enzo asked.
As Beatrix turned toward's him "I was dodging death actually seeing as one of the men I was tripping with was awaiting my impending death so he could have the love of his life in his arms again." she shared, turning back around, she noticed the blood bag as she picked it up "ah yes, I forgot. You live for danger." Enzo shared, walking over to her, Beatrix turned to him "where's Oscar the munchy heretic?" she asked "why?" Enzo asked her "witch business." Beatrix told him "well, I'm afraid Oscar is not feeling quite like his self today, so maybe another time." Enzo shared, grabbing her arm and dragging her out, a women screamed.
As the two stopped, eyes going wide "bollocks." Enzo said, running off, Beatrix followed after him, as they headed into what used to be Stefan's room, Oscar was feeding on a women, as Enzo sped toward's him, pulling him off, Beatrix appeared behind the maid catching her "not supposed to the help, mate." Enzo told him "can you heal her, please?" Beatrix asked him, as Enzo bit in his wrist and stepped towards her, feeding her his blood, Beatrix stepped around them looking at Oscar "Oscar, buddy, remember when you dove into my brain and knocked me out? Myrtle beach?" she asked him.
"I've never been to myrtle beach, but I do remember you from that dark room in the basement. There was this bright light, like an angel, it was you." Oscar told her "what?" Beatrix asked him "I think I'm hungry." Oscar shared, as Enzo stepped toward's Beatrix "okay see that's why I came here. Cause that? That's not normal! So how about you tell me about the phoenix stone." Beatrix told him "what stone? Why do people keep asking me questions I don't know the answer to?" Oscar asked "this!" Beatrix voiced, making the stone appear in her hand "there. You got me out of there." Oscar shared.
