116. MAGICAL PREGNANCY

Chapter one hundred and sixteen

"Magical pregnancy."

Three years later, Beatrix walked downstairs from putting the girls to bed but when she did Alaric wasn't there and neither was Damon as she pulled out her phone and called them, seeing the broadcast of Caroline who was a news anchor in town "I'm looking for Stefan Salvatore." Caroline said, as Beatrix huffed the phone answered "Alaric? Please tell me you didn't go after Caroline with Damon?" she asked "don't worry I'll take out little miss stabby pants, and grab Caroline." Damon shared.

"Um, Damon let's all remember miss stabby pants owns a sword that when she stabs you can shove your soul back into and last time that happened it didn't exactly end well." Beatrix shared "she's right. I'm pretty sure she's not play tic tac toe. Look. This is a trap." Alaric shared "oh, I know it's a trap. And I'm gonna spring it so Stefan can't." Damon shared "look I didn't leave my fiance on thirty seconds notice just to sit in the car." Alaric shared "no, none of your are going in there!" Beatrix voiced, as tires could be heard screeching on the other end.

"There's no way that Stefan didn't see Caroline's broadcast. He'll be here in a minute. When he get's here, pump him full of vervain so he can't hero his way in there." Damon shared "so then the warrior princess can take out his unconscious body that's.." Beatrix was saying "I'm sure the angels will guide me, Beatrix. Gotta go." Damon shared, hanging up the phone, Beatrix's eyes went wide, knowing he listened to what she said to the kids, as she brought the phone down.

Being in Alaric's apartment, Beatrix walked out of the bathroom with the pregnancy stick "simple enough. Two lines you're pregnant, one line you're not." Alaric shared "for human people maybe but my family is different, my grandmother birthed my mother from magical means, no test would've been able to tell her she was pregnant. And my mother may have given birth to me the normal way with my father but then I got killed by Kai and had to be reborn.." she shared, remembering how she died in the prison world and how her father saved her, and now she wasn't a demon but an angel.

As she shook her head "what I'm saying is if I didn't even know they were inside of me, I doubt that the gemini coven is gonna make it as obvious as me peeing on a stick." she shared "no, no, you..you just did that thing." Alaric told her "what thing?" Beatrix asked him, furrowing her brows "the thing where you realized something and then brush past it like it doesn't matter." Alaric shared "I was thinking of how when my father saved me. Cause before that I was always the witch demon, you know, queen of hell. And yet when I came back things felt different and when I killed Kai, I didn't just rip his heart out like Damon said this..this blinding white light came out of my hands and I made him explode." she shared.

"And he depicted me as an angel and so did Matt when I had to bring him back after Bonnie and I stopped his heart. And now I'm just wondering if they knew what I was did they put them inside of me because they knew I could protect them and keep them safe or.." she was saying, as the alarm beeped, Alaric turned it off, as Beatrix looked at the pregnancy test, it was only one line, meaning it was negative, she walked over and handed it to him "negative." Alaric told her "yeah." Beatrix told him "but I don't understand, Valerie was so certain." Alaric shared "well if it means anything I would maybe trust the heretic and how the blood caught on fire over some non supernatural pregnancy test." Beatrix shared, grabbing the stick.

And as she did, her phone rang as she pulled it out of her pocket, seeing Matt's name, she answered it "Matt, look, whatever's going on in mystic falls.." she shared "Bonnie and I found two dozen people compelled to hang out at the high last night. I've been trying to call her but she won't pick up. I'm starting to get a little worried." Matt shared "well according to her text she went somewhere with Enzo." Beatrix told him "what? Well, now i'm a lot worried." Matt shared, as Beatrix scoffed "Matt, Bonnie her entire life has done everything for everyone else and if she has decided that she wants Enzo to be her next boyfriend or potential fling that's nobody's business but her own. Now what about the high school kids?" she asked.
