078. STRANGE DREAMS CAN LEAD YOU TO YOUR ANSWER

Chapter seventy eight

"Strange dreams can lead you to your answer."

Stefan was walking on a path, and as he did, he headed up to a bar that had a red awning, as he walked inside of it, he headed up to the lady working at the counter as she turned to him "hey, man. Last call was four hours ago. If you want some coffee, I can put some on." she shared, as Stefan stepped toward's her, he showed her his vampire face, as he bit her in the neck, the women screamed as he pulled away "run. Run!" he yelled, as the women ran out the door, Stefan put his hands on the counter and pushed off of it as he turned heading out of the bar.

But as he did, he looked up seeing the sun started to rise, as his skin started to burn, he fell to his knees, bringing his hand up and realizing his ring wasn't there, he groaned.

And as he did, Beatrix woke up screaming, as she sat up in Stefan's bed, Minnie sat up "what's wrong?" she asked "a guy..a guy was burning in the sun." Laura shared "Stefan..it was Stefan..ah!" Beatrix voiced, rolling up her sleeve, she saw that her skin was burning like if she didn't have her daylight ring on "that's not good." Minnie shared, as Damon sped upstairs, looking at all three of them "what the hell's.." he went to ask but then he noticed Beatrix's skin "I think we found Stefan." Laura informed him "elaborate." Damon told them.

"We saw him walk into this bar, it had a red awning and a broken neon sign and he fed on the lady named Jo and then.." Laura shared "Beatrix started screaming." Minnie mentioned "which was because he was burning in the sun and whatever witchy work around I have to do to stop him from being attached to me like this I will." Beatrix shared, as Laura pulled out her phone putting the information into the search, as Katherine was standing in the door way "you screams are like super sonic. I don't even have vampire hearing anymore and I still heard you." she complained "who the hell is that?" Minnie asked "Katherine. Ignore her. The rest of us do." Beatrix shared "the bar we are looking for is on route 29." Laura shared "great. Let's go." Beatrix shared, climbing out of bed.

Having gotten dressed for the day, Beatrix was walking downstairs with Minnie and Laura as they walked into the living room where Elena stood, Damon followed in behind them "so I've found nine bars along route 29, and none of them are called Joe's." he shared "well, rarely are any of my dreams ever wrong. And seeing as Beatrix had the same one. I suggest you either give us the keys to your car or stop bashing our witch heritage and just go wherever the wind takes us." Laura shared "shotgun!" Katherine voiced, as they all looked at her "what? I get carsick in the back seat. Another charming human side effect you stuck me with." Katherine shared.

As Beatrix's eyes went wide "they're both coming?" she asked him "trust me, I have no interest in Katherine's well being, but for some reason, your great grandfather wants her real bad, and if Silas wants her, I want her more. And Elena wants to come to make sure Stefan's okay." Damon shared "well, then I'm sitting up front with you, Minnie and Laura can sit on each other's laps while being stuck between the bickering doppelgangers!" Beatrix voiced "good. I've missed my roadtrip, buddy." Damon shared, as he put his arm around her, he turned walking off, and as he did, Minnie and Laura followed them, as Katherine and Elena stared at each other, as they then followed after them.

Driving down the road, the seating arrangement was exactly as Athena had said "you sure you know what you're looking for? Last bar had a red awning and a neon sign." Damon shared "you'll know when we know. Trust me." Beatrix shared "so are you two Athena's new best friends? Because no offense to her old ones, but she's been severely lacking in them." Katherine shared with Laura and Minnie "can I knock her out?" Laura asked "yes." Beatrix and Damon told her "no!" Minnie and Elena voiced "fine then we'll just wait until the vervains out of her system and we'll compel her and put her on mute." Damon shared, making the witches in the car laugh.
