I woke up in the morning, the bed was empty besides me sitting here. Maybe I dreamed of everything about yesterday, that was my theory before I looked at my phone.

Jish: Hey I'm going to get food, be home soon xx

I sighed and sat up, I went to my piano and began to play and sing. It was just the mood I was in.

I finished softly and sat quietly, Oh Ms Believer will always be one of my favorite songs, and I can't help but to let every word sink in. I sat back onto the couch thinking of another song I could play.

The door opened and Josh came in with shopping bags and food. "Morning Syrup." He smiled warmly. I got up and went over to him, giving him a big hug.

"What's in the bags?" I laughed slowly.

"Christmas presents. And do not, I repeat not look in any of them." He ordered.

"Ugh fine."

"You hungry? I got some takeout." Josh put the bag on the counter.

"Sara, you've never played piano or sang to me before, will you?" Josh asked. He paused Home Alone and kissed the side of my head. Every couple minutes Josh would pause the movie and just kiss me, or say something random. We were cuddled on my couch under a warm blanket.

"What song?" I asked slowly, I knew how to play too many songs in fact. I had too much free time and no such social life.

"Are you able to play Can't Help Falling In Love With You?"

And oh god could I? Was that even a question? As soon as I heard that cover, I didn't hesitate to learn the song. And I really got into the song, always.

"Yeah, I can." I answered. I got up and sat back down onto the bench in front of my piano. I began to play the song, my eyes were shut and I flew right through each note of the song.
