If I stop texting
I hope you understand
That maybe I'm dealing
With something out of hand
If I stop eating
Take me for a walk
Sit me on a park bench
In the evening to talk
If I start wearing long sleeves again
Don't question or but in
Simply take me for a bike ride in autumn
So I can feel something again
If my bracelets grow in numbers
Like armor from your eyes
I hope you look past my smiles
And know my words are lies
If I stop talking as much
Don't urge me to speak
Because I hope you know
My voice will be too weak
If I happen to stop smiling
Take me to the sea
Where the water blends with my tears
So I can feel free
If I come home from school in tears
Make me some tea, I'll work later
It's going to be long
Before I feel any better
If I have an attack in class
Send me home, I'm sick
It's just not something
I can fix so quick
If I wince in pain
When I carry my books
Tell the others
To stop their looks
If I choke up will typing this
Give me a call and ask if I'm okay
It would sure be nice
To hear your voice today
