Inseparable.
That's what we were.
If it wasn't for the pain
Sadness
Illness
Disease
Anger
We would be.
But now we are nothing more than were.
Together, unstopable.
Apart, fragile.
That's all it was.
She was my best friend.
I wish I could have told her that
Before.
Because life can be cruel.
Life is just a bittersweet kiss
Before it gives us all to death.
And no matter how much we know
We can't change it's path.
We can only wish.
She had told me before
Not to cry.
Not to worry.
For I'd see her again.
No matter how pale and ill she was
She was always the most beautiful
Girl I'd ever met.
In the world maybe.
But now she was.
And I am.
And without her I'm broken
Fragile
Because of the darkness that will
Take us all one day.
And I pray that day
Is soon for me.
Just to hear her voice
Her laugh
See her smile
Her freckled cheeks
Her life.
