From the moment we met
Our eyes connected
And I felt every particle
Leave my lungs
Every ounce of strength
Every electronic signal
From my nerves to my brain
Blocked out
You could have set me on fire
Drowned me in a sea
Of the world I knew before her eyes
No sea could compare
To the entire universe
She held in her eyes
Those eyes like the earth
But those eyes that swallowed me whole
They were a black hole
She consumed me in her gaze
And I was sucked right in
And god I'm loving the pain
Of every single molecule
Being stripped from my essence
Her excavating my bones
As if I was a prized artifact
All the sculptures of Michelangelo
Could not compare to the reality
The strength, the sheer beauty
And as if her eyes
Could sink as low to meet
My raging stormy sea
She could overlook easily
But god
Was she beauty
