At the end of the day
You know where i'll be
At the place where
The sky meets the sea
Underwater I'll wait
For your safe return
For the taste of your lips
Are something I yearn
I'll drag myself onto the shore
And I'll risk every fear
My love, how long has it been?
Nearly a year?
I see your silhouette
Painted of the walls of stone
Anxiety sets in me
And numbs to the bone
I swim to the shallows
And see you waiting there
You haven't changed at all
Your skin is still pure and fair
A smile pulls across my face
And I see it in yours too
You lift me out of the water
And pull me into you
I feel the tears peak out
And begin to roll down my cheek
My breathing becomes shallow
My body feels weak
The ocean beckons me
But I ignore the burn of the sun
Nothing could be better
Than being your only one
I look deep into your eyes
Their darkness swallows me
It opens up an ocean
I swam into their sea
In an instant a burning urge
Is nagging in my brain
You won't like my idea
You'll think that I'm insane
But I lean in anyway
And touch your lips with mine
The taste of your sweet lips
Have me trapped inside this time
You pull away slowly
And your smile lights the sky
I cannot bear to leave you
But I know that you know why
I leap back to the water
And a tear rolls down my face
I'm sorry I must leave
And return to my ocean place
Without it I'll be dead
And I know that it's not fair
It hurt me so terribly
To see you waiting there
But I'll be here every time
And I'll see you very soon
Just wait for me by the ocean
And under the full moon
