- Bad Character Development
- Bad Animation (trailers didn't give me much hope ://)
- no gay???
- girls/women being cut down into a simple love interest/plot point for an ep
- conner and dick not being sassy
- conner and dick not having a bonding moment??? pls n thank u ~

- Artemis not being badass
- no one mentioning Wally lmao
- not letting the Kids be Kids please
- recycling old relationship plot points
- relationships in general tbh

- plot holes
- under utilizing powers
- MY FAVES DYING (aka everyone)

LOOKS LIKE WE GOT A BIT OF AN I S S U E ON OUR HANDS

turns out the only way to watch the new season is on DC's Universe streaming platform, which is ONLY available to the US, and MAYBE Canada at some point.... in this essay i will provide 2 solid points as to why doing this will cause YJ to be canceled again.

1. people viewing OUTSIDE the US

1a. america is SO DUMB WTF how come y'all get everything first??? u guys havent done anything to deserve this and other countries havent deserved this lack of entertainment. just build ur fucking wall n let others watch their shows (im being dramatic here and do not wish to talk abt american politics bc ur system is also dumb but thats irrelevant)

1b. the audience is WIDER than just the US; Mexico, Canada, UK, Spain, Philipines, Australia, and other parts of the UN. this will be the major cause of the downfall. the previous reason as to why the show was canceled was due to a lack of income/sales and views, however, when Netflix gained the rights to air the 2 seasons, views skyrocketed - enough to make the show revive. so, i can understand as to why DC would choose to stream the new season on a platform where you would have to pay, however, many of their viewers are young AND/OR unable to pay for the site's $8/month subscription fee (in the States, that is...). Leading back to the downfall i mentioned earlier, DC Universe may find itself losing potential views from people all around the globe, leadng to a lack of sales, and may find itself where it began, leaving everyone to wonder if it was even WORTH bringing back the show at all.

2. getting people to PAY to view the show

okay okat okay, as a commerce student AND a viewer AND as someone w a part time job, i have 2 sides to this (PLS KEEP IN MIND THIS IS ALL AN ~OPINION~ N NOT FACTS UNLESS STATED)

2a. a major part of me disagrees with making viewers have to pay in order to watch the show. this is because many in the audience are unable/have no way to pay for it, or are too young to be allowed (by their parents or the platform). and as aforementioned, this leads to a lack of views, to a lack of sales, to be greeted by the unforgiving conclusion of being forced to end the show (or continue it, and make the episodes worse than they already were - oh, wait, this isn't voltron - whoopsie!). as a long-time viewer of the show, realizing i have to pay for something i once loved is just... heartbreaking. i grew up watching this. i idolized many of the characters. it wasn't until netflix got the rights to stream it did everyone go hectic again. just use AdSense money. or views from netflix. got everyones hopes up n now theyre down again

2b. OKAY HERE IS WHERE BASICALLY CAPITALISM HAPPENS. DISAGREE OR AGREE but it works. bc money WORKS. bc as humans we have needs and wants. and some of those include eating, sleeping, exercising, and watching the new season of a once dead tv show. considering the fact sales were an issue for dc, its no surprise theyre going to first get people to pay to watch it, considering a lot of people watched the show on illegal websites where DC would get none of the sales in views from things such as AdSense. streaming it on their own website is a way for DC to get feedback FASTER from its viewers, rather than searching for secondary research all over the Internet. It also means they can review its own ratings. and as someone who can afford an $8/month subscription, AND has seen MAJOR backlash of audiences watching shows/movies online (where the film producers would get incorrect numbers in the box office), i understand why dc would ask its (US) viewers to pay. if DC is able to get the numbers, they may be able to release some merchandise and make more income off of those. and when netflix gains the right to stream the new season (which will happen when the season has ended, most likely), view will continue to go up from people outside the US.

extra - 2c. we all know at some point someone will leak the new eps everywhere ok just keep waiting and looking we will find it n get to watch it eventually for now just go outside lol
