Chapter 40: Baby Talk

'I have to do this,' Naruto ran his hand through his blonde locks as he checked himself out in the mirror. 'This is my last option to keep her safe.'

"Nia, doesn't this place look romantic to you?" He questioned as Nia was observing the inn room they were in. "I mean, just look around. The carpet is clean, there're rose petals on it leading onto the top of this king-sized bed, a bouquet is even atop of it, there's a chandelier, candles lit everywhere... It's the perfect room to make a baby."

"Naruto," The girl sighed. "Quit pretending like you actually want a baby."

"I'm not joking around with you," The blonde went away from the mirror and gently grasped Nia's upper arms. "Tonight, we're gonna try and get us a baby."

"B-But I don't want a baby right now. Let's wait until we get older."

"That's not an option. You refuse to stay in the Leaf and so now I gotta do what I gotta do to keep you safe."

"But Naruto..."

"Just... don't say anything more," He pulled her close and pecked her cheek. "I can't let you get killed... Let me make a baby with you."

"Y-You're... You're being ridicu-Kya!" Nia found herself being backed into a wall.

Naruto rested his forearm atop her head, against the wall.

"We're making love tonight, all right?!"

His intense demeanor made the girl's face go red. It wasn't often he'd get this way with her. With a blush, she averted her eyes.

"You don't have to be... so demanding," She mumbled.

"Nia... I was so worried about you this whole time, ya know?"

"I know, but... you're going too far, Naruto. A baby is a huge responsibility."

"We can handle it."

"No, not now."

"Nia," The genin then embraced her. "Then just agree to stay in the Leaf and I won't have to do this. That's all you have to do."

"But I don't want to."

"Then..." He cupped her face and brushed his thumb across her cheek. "I've got no choice but to get you to have my babies, ya know."

"Mmph," Nia suddenly found herself being kissed and held around the waist.

Naruto took a step forward, making Nia's back press more against the wall.

Her arms immediately encircled around his neck and pulled him down to deepen the kiss.

However, moments later, her nerves would get the better of her and she broke the kiss. Naruto would go on to leave a trail of kisses down her neck.

"Naruto," Nia then rested her hands on his chest, slightly pushing away at him. "Naruto, wait."

"What is it?" He went back up to kiss her cheek.
