Hi everyone ☺️❤️, so there are a couple of things I'd like to talk about. Before that, I'd like to give y'all an update on chapter 60.

So I'm still currently am typing that chapter up, but I've been unable to make up my mind on how I want the ending of that chapter to be and because I've written depressing chapters as of late, I wanted to write more light-hearted chapters back in my first Naruto story: Light In You.

I've written two bonus chapters and am currently writing another one that'll hopefully come out soon. If you wanna go read it, just go to my most recent updates and you'll find it there. Just remember to vote and comment, please.

I may be writing quite a few bonus chapters on that story so keep an eye out for those updates. That leads me to my first subject that I wanted to talk about...

READERS AND COMMENTS

So, I've brought this subject up just maybe once or twice before, but I've decided to talk about it again. First: reads...

So thankfully, I've noticed my amount of reads have gone up more or less from how it was before per chapter. However, I'm still trying to figure out how to make my reads grow to how it was back in the beginning of the year and even how it was in 2018 and 2017 where each chapter was ranging from 300-1000 reads per chapter in the span of a week.

I'm not sure what it was that I had done that had made the reads go down drastically from how it used to be in the first place. Most of my readers (36%) are 18-25 years old (which is good cause I write a lot of mature content), but close behind them are readers who range from 13-18 (30%), followed by accounts that keep their age private (24%), 25-35 year olds (9%), and people over 45 (1%).

What I wanna know is, for your specific age group, what you think could be a reason this story isn't getting as much love as it used to? I know a big reason could be because of school or work, but could it be because of this story itself?

Like had the story became boring? Had it become too mature (too sexual)? Had it become too long?

The irony of the second question would be that my lemons are the chapters that get the MOST reads, so I doubt that could be the reason so many people turned away from the story cause those seem to be in high demand. Could it be that I don't write enough lemons??

Idk, tell me what you guys think I can do to improve my reads cause I've been trying everything and I can only manage to get a maximum of 250 reads (if I'm lucky), per chapter as opposed to my 300-600+ reads.

And don't get me wrong, I am very grateful that the people who do read are well, still reading this book, but I'm just trying to figure out how I can get my reads to be where they were before.

The second issue that I've been bothered by is this:

No one seems to comment anymore.

There's literally only a couple of you that comments every chapter and I find that rather discouraging and a bummer. It used to be so much more of you guys who would take the time out of your day to comment your reaction to certain lines throughout the chapter.

I'm grateful that a lot of you at least vote, but if you really wanna put a smile on my face, dropping a few comments throughout the chapter would be nice.

And yes, I say a few cause that's what I notice makes me pumped to write the next chapter. The more you comment, the more excited I get to bring you that next juicy chapter. Votes are appreciated, but I would prefer it if those of you who vote (which is quite a few of you), would leave some comments also.

If you really aren't the type to comment a lot, I would at least appreciate if you could leave one long comment where you're telling me what your thoughts were about the chapter or what you liked about it. Something like this:

Hey Janae, I really liked when Naruto saved Nia from those bandits that were trying to kill her. I thought that it was funny when Jiraiya was teasing Naruto and Nia about their feelings for one another. I feel sad that Nia was killed and that she won't be able to see Naruto ever again. That really broke my heart. I hope you can bring her back and blah, blah, blah.

Something like that. You can give criticism too but just do so in a polite manner and try to explain your reasonings as best you can so I can understand what it is you're trying to say to me.

Also, I don't ask those question of the day's for nothing you guys. I ask them so I can get some feedback on the chapter I worked hard to make.

It just sucks so hard right now tbh cause I'm now just thinking about how I literally embarrassed myself to get those two lines from Maile Flannagan (Naruto's VA) for you guys to enjoy, only to get two people each chapter who are willing to comment.

Which actually, what were you guys' reaction to hearing her say in Naruto's voice "You're beautiful, Nia. I love you." ?

Not to say I don't appreciate those who comment every now and then or who only vote, but it would just mean so much more to me if you would comment your thoughts each chapter.

Not something like, "Great job"

But something like I described above where you're giving me actual feedback on the chapter or commenting on certain lines your reaction to something a character did or said.

Anyway, I think this is the last time I'll reach out to you guys regarding this issue, but if I end up getting discourage from writing this book (which I can't really see happening btw), you'll know why I've mainly stopped. Cause no one was showing their appreciation to the hard work I put in into writing this story.

Enough of that topic now, let's get into the next one.

I've just thought of something fun that you, as readers, could do to help liven up my spirits. I was thinking that you guys could take this time to write your very own NARUNIA ONE SHOT AHHH ❤️

It could be about anything you want: A date they have, a lemon, their wedding, the birth of their children (I have decided to name the twins Naruta, who is the oldest lol, and Nisaki — they're both girls), have them have more than just two kids, Naruto shutting down Hinata, just anything you want.

I just ask that you make the chapter at least 2000 words when you write it. That's not a whole lot and it'll be enough to really put a smile on my face and you can DEFINITELY write more than 2000 words. It has to be something NaruNia related though.

I wanna see what you guys write first so I might hold off on chapter 60 to let you guys have enough time to write, but I will be posting one shots I'm writing on Light In You (the bonus chapters I told you about)
