"Nia, I feel like you're worrying over nothing, sweetie," Naruto intertwined his fingers in hers as they were both sitting opposite to one another on a futon. "Hinata really wouldn't do anything to jeopardize us. I bet you she's really happy for us, ya know?"

"Happy, my ass," Nia replied. "Naruto, you're not really listening to me. Hinata is out to destroy us. She wants to tear us apart. Why won't you believe me, honey?"

"Cause she just wouldn't do that, Nia. You have to be misinterpreting everything. You're probably just feeling a little paranoid and insecure in our relationship right now."

"Babyyy," The girl whimpered and pouted.

"Nia," He kissed her cheek then pinched it gently with his free hand. "You're just feeling threatened over nothing. At this rate, you might as well feel threatened over Ino and Tenten too."

"I'm not threatened or feel jealous of your female friends, Naruto. It's just Hinata who bothers me."

"Hinata's a really nice person, but I don't like her in that way. Does that make you feel better?"

"A little..." Nia said. "But if you really wanna make me happy, I would appreciate it if you could tell her to leave us alone and that you love me and only me."

"She knows that I love you though..."

"Well, she doesn't understand that you wanna be with me. Even if you can't understand everything that I told you, can you just tell her to back off?"

Naruto tilted his head and crossed his arms.

"Hmmm..."

Nia frowned.

"All right," The blond sighed. "I'll tell her but it'll just be awkward."

"How so?"

"Well, it's not like she likes me. I could see why you'd be upset if she did, but we only see eachother as friends."

Nia chose not to say anything.

"But I'll tell her to leave us alone since you feel threatened by her for some reason," Naruto said.

"Thank you very much," Nia pecked his cheek. "You have no idea how much that relieves me."

"Sure, but how about you lay back down again? That fever isn't going to get better if you don't rest up."

"I don't know..." Nia was hesitant and lowered her eyes.

"Nia," The genin cupped her chin and made her look at him. "There's seriously nothing for you to worry about. The only girl I love is you."

Hearing this, the girl smiled to herself.

"It's crazy to me that you even feel threatened that our bond could be broken. There's no one on this Earth that could tear us apart..." He continued. "That could destroy our love. No one."
