You know the Matsuno brothers since high school. You always had a liking to Karamatsu and Ichimatsu. Both of them had in their own way something that made you fall for them. You could say you fall in love with both of them. You realized that you need to make finally an decision, because it slowly starts to hurt your heart whenever you see the two. Thinking about it for a while and spending time with Karamatsu and Ichimatsu alone, you decided to ask Ichimatsu out. He was at first surprised, but said in the end yes.

Now, you two are on your first date. You asked Ichimatsu the whole time what he wants to do or which place he would like, but Ichimatsu didn't really replied. You two sit in an cat café together, because you thought he would open up a bit when he is in a place he likes. "S-So um ... did you feed the cats yesterday again, Ichimatsu?" You ask with a sweaty smile. But Ichimatsu only nod his head while petting a cat in his lap. You look a bit sad down and drink your juice. 'I guess ... Ichimatsu feels sick. Yeah, that's probably why he is so reserved. He only feels a bit sick.'

"(Y/n)." You hum and look up to Ichimatsu. "Yes?" "Could you pay? I let my wallet at home." Ichimatsu says bored and isn't even looking at you. "Ah ... um, s-sure. I can." You look down to your juice again, but Ichimatsu isn't even saying "thank you". So with that, you two sit there for 15 minutes before Ichimatsu stands up and walks to the exit. You hesitate at first, but quickly grab the tab and pay by the exit for the drinks and food. Ichimatsu already left and wasn't even waiting for you. When you catch up to Ichimatsu a few minutes later, he isn't even carrying that you pant for air.

'He's just ... not feeling well. This must be the reason.' You feel tears welling up in your eyes, but you try to ignore the fact that your heart is hurting. "I'll be going now. Was a nice date. Bye." Ichimatsu walks suddenly over a crosswalk with other people and left you stay in the middle of the street. You open your mouth, but nothing comes out. 'Well, I never had a date before. I guess that's how dates are then, huh? ... B-But maybe when we have our second date, Ichimatsu will get a bit more talk active. And I'm sure he will feel better then.'

"?!" Suddenly, someone bumps from the side against your arm. "Ah, I'm sor-?!" You hum and look to the familiar voice. "Oh, Karamatsu. Hello." You say with a slight smile. "Forgive me, my dear. I was day dreaming so much that I bumped into you by accident." Karamatsu put his sunglasses onto his nose, covering the blush who spread across his cheeks when he saw you. "It's okay, Karamatsu. I know you would never hurt me." You say with a soft smile. Karamatsu is blushing a bit more, but he remembers what Osomatsu told him today. "Ah ... a-and I'm happy for you ... Ichimatsu girl." You laugh softly from Karamatsu's way to talk, while he looks unwell away from you. To his luck you can't see his eyes, because of the sunglasses.

"Thank you. Oh, I remember I need to buy some groceries for my grandmother. She sprained her foot and since my parents living not so near like me, I'll help her a little out. But it was nice to see you, Karamatsu." You smile at the second brother with closed eyes before you walk quickly away. Karamatsu hums and watch how you leave. Right now, he had the feeling you just faked a smile at him.

~Two weeks later~
Ichimatsu and you went onto dates in total 5th times. Whenever you meet up, Ichimatsu was wearing his usual clothes while you tried to wear more feminine clothes. It was a bit hurting you, but you know Ichimatsu likes his comfortable clothes, so you won't say anything against it. Still, on every date you two had, Ichimatsu was just like always. Reserved and didn't really talked with you. Sometimes he ignored you as well and you often needed to pay for everything.

Today, you two walk down the streets and going to an cat café again. You saw that Ichimatsu was happy with the cat cafés, so you continued with that as long as he isn't looking like he hates it. You pet a cat softly, glancing over to Ichimatsu. Just like always, he isn't paying any attention to you. 'Maybe I should just ... ask him?' You gulp and get the courage to ask. "Um ... I-Ichimatsu?" He only hums, but isn't looking at you. "A-Are you ... okay? I-I mean ... you don't even talk with me and um ... d-do you even want ... to date me?" Ichimatsu hold his breath for a moment, before he looks at you with his bored expression.

"No." Your eyes widen when you hear his response. "I only wanted go out with you, because I wanted to brag with this to my brothers, to show them I'm better than they-?!" But when Ichimatsu glanced back to you, he couldn't say anything anymore. Tears rolling down your face and you look really hurt at Ichimatsu. You look down to the cat and sat it aside. "(Y/n)-chan, I didn't-" But suddenly, you start to laugh softly. "Why was I so stupid? ... I made excuses for you that you only are so cold to me, because you feel sick. I knew all the time ... you don't want me at all as your girlfriend. ... I'm sorry when I did something wrong."

You stand up and quickly run out of the café, not wanting to cry even more in front of Ichimatsu. 'I know he only used me. I knew it all along. But I just ... didn't wanted to see the truth.' While your legs bringing you back home, you bump against someone's arm. You stumble a few steps forward, but before you can even fall, an hand grabs your arm quickly. "Ah, (y/n)-chan. Are you-?!" But when you look over your shoulder, Karamatsu's eyes widen. You quickly rip your arm out of his gentle grip and let your legs run to your home again. Karamatsu is at first really caught off guard, but he comes back and quickly runs after you. "(Y/n) wait!!"

When you reach the door from your apartment, you unlock the door quickly and stumble inside. Before Karamatsu can enter, you slam the door shut. You press your back against the door and slide it slowly down. You hug your legs close to your chest, lay your forehead down onto your knees and start to cry. Karamatsu feels how his heart starts to break when he hears you crying. "(Y/n)-chan ... can you let me in please?" Karamatsu knocks softly against the door, but you don't listen to him. " ... I will wait here, okay? When you want someone to talk to, I will be here, okay?" Karamatsu sits down by your front door, his back leaning against it.

After some time passed, you let Karamatsu inside when the sun goes down. You told him that Ichimatsu was only using you and you doesn't wanted to believe this. That you made excuses for him for yourself. Karamatsu of course was angry that Ichimatsu used such a sweet girl like you, so he stayed at your place and showed you his favorite Korean drama. Karamatsu even cooked dinner for you and made you an sundae, only to get scared from your dog and end up with the ice cream on his head and your dog licking his face happily. It was really funny to watch and you couldn't stop laughing.

Today, you go with Karamatsu on a date. You stand near a crepe booth, eating your crepes together. "Like I say, cheesecake crepe is much better than blueberry, Kara." You pout and hold out the spoon to him. "Heh. I need to disappoint you, my sweetheart. But blueberry is much better than cheesecake." Karamatsu says with a cherry red blush on his cheek, feeling too embarrassed to eat from the same spoon like you did. This would be an indirect kiss and you two didn't even kissed yet. "Then give me some of yours and I'll give you some of mine. Then we'll see which is better." Karamatsu glance at you, but that was his mistake. You are just too cute that he can't help himself.

Karamatsu leans down to you, your eyes widen and- "Ah, (y/n)-chan." Karamatsu quickly takes your spoon in his mouth instead of kissing you on your lips. You look to the side and see Ichimatsu. Right now, you don't know which face you should make. Ichimatsu feels the same way. After what happened yesterday, he really felt bad. Karamatsu sees Ichimatsu, he suddenly lays his arm around your shoulders and starts to walk with you. "Let us sit down somewhere, my dearest. I'm sure standing for such a long time will only hurt your beautiful legs." You hum and nod your head.

You can't see it, but Karamatsu glares over his shoulder at Ichimatsu. Telling him he wants to talk with his brother later. Ichimatsu watch how you two walk away. " ... Shit." Ichimatsu clench his teeth together and his hands into tight fists.

Seeing you smiling so happy with someone else, Ichimatsu regrets for not being honest with you yesterday. He wanted to say "no", but his mouth was faster than his brain and before Ichimatsu knew it, you were crying.
