Chapter 40: The Next Morning

Midas' POV
I woke up with y/n in my arms. I smiled to myself and just stayed there until she woke up. A few minutes later her eyes began fluttering open.

"Good morning darling. Are you feeling better?" I asked.
"Yeah, actually I feel a lot better. Thanks to you" y/n replied kissing me, I kissed her back.

Y/n POV
"We should probably get ready for the day. I mean I'd love to stay here and cuddle but it's already 6:30" I told Midas.
"We should get ready" he agreed getting up.

We walked to his closet and he grabbed the same outfit he wears everyday. It didn't bother me though because he always looked really good, like REALLY good. I looked through my clothes and picked out 2 shirts and 2 pair of pants. The first shirt was a pastel tie dye while the other was plain white with the ghost logo on the front. The pants were a pair of jeggings and a pair of leggings. I decided on the pastel tie dye shirt with leggings.

By the time I chose my outfit and got dressed Midas was finishing up. I quickly brushed my teeth and washed my face. I brushed my hair and leaned over so my hair was hanging down. I started pulling it into a ponytail until I heard Midas.

"Y/n? What are you doing, are you alright?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm good. I'm just putting my hair up" I replied finishing up my hair.

After I pulled my hair into a ponytail I looked over to see Midas who was watching me. He looked confused as to why I put my hair up that way.

"The question is, are you alright?" I giggled.
"Yeah, I'm fine darling just wondering why you did your hair that way"
"That's normal to put hair up like that"
"Oh, anyways let's go to the lounge room" he replied holding his hand out.

I set my brush on his counter and grabbed his hand. We walked to the lounge room holding hands the entire time. When we got in there everyone was in there. Nobody was talking though, and normally almost everyone was talking.

Skye looked mad and Meowslces looked sad. TNTina and Bomb looked annoyed. Maya looked tired while Brutus and Peely looked normal.

"Is everyone okay?" I asked.

All the girls looked at me and smiled. They all walked up to me and Midas took that as he should go so us girls could talk.

"You're not the only one who started" Skye told me.
"Oh, are you guys alright? You all seem to be in bad moods"
"Well, Meow didn't seem to know what periods were so I had to explain to him" Skye replied.
"Bomb and I are just annoyed because of Brutus trying to make jokes" TNTina stated.
"While I'm tired because I woke up in the middle of the night with insane cramps"
"I had cramps too" I said.
"I think we all did" Skye agreed and everyone nodded.
"I'm hungry" I said.
"Me too" the girls said in unison.

We all walked to the kitchen and started making waffles together. I mixed the batter, Maya used the waffle maker, while TNTina and Skye put the toppings on like nutella and strawberries.

When we finished I saw Midas sitting on the couch with his coffee just looking out the window. He normally went to his office so I was a little confused. I decided to go sit next to him once I finished eating.

"How come you're in here?"
"Because I didn't want to leave you. I want to be there for you if you have cramps again" he said standing up now.
"This isn't my first period, I can handle myself"
"I know" Midas smiled.

We walked to his office together. He sat in his usual seat. I saw another chair that was just like his but instead of gold lining it had rose gold lining. I stopped and looked at the chair confused.

"This is your seat" Midas explained.
"Oh, ok" I said sitting down.

This was the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in. I could take a nap sitting in it. I looked over at what Midas was doing. It looked like he was ordering stuff online. I just grabbed my phone and started listening to music.

(Texting)

Skye: hey y/n, r u busy?
Y/n: no, y?
Skye: bc t, maya, bomb, and I r all going to the skate park so bomb can show us how to skate
Y/n: oh ok
Skye: wanna come?
Y/n: yep, give me 5 min and I'll be ready
Skye: kk

"Hey, I'm gonna go out with the girls. I'll be back later" I said as I stood up.
"Okay, where are you girls going?"
"To the skate park so Bomb can teach us how to skate"
"Be careful"
"I will, I love you"
"I love you too"

With that I left the room and headed to my room. I grabbed my bluetooth speaker and headed to the front of the Agency. I saw all the girls talking and waiting for me.

"There she is!" Skye said.
"Ok let's go!" Bomb yelled running to the boat.
"We have to take 2 boats" Maya said.
"Actually let's just take a helicopter" I suggested.
"We have to ask Midas then" TNTina added.
"But do we?" I smirked.

I grabbed my phone and texted Midas.

Y/n:Can we borrow your helicopter?
Midas: No
Y/n: Pleaseeee 🥺
Midas: Fine
Y/n: Thank you!!

"We can use his helicopter" I told the girls.
"HIS helicopter!" Skye shouted.
"Yep" I nodded.

We all ran to his helicopter and piled in. I was the one flying and before I started the helicopter I looked over at Midas'office windows. I saw him standing by one watching us. I smiled and waved at him. He smiled and waved back.

We took off and headed for the skate park in Sweaty.
