Chapter 26: What's the Plan?

The next day I woke up to a knock on my door. I got up to go see who it was.

"Good morning ma'am, what should we do about the rose gold woman?" The henchmen asked.
"Oh, umm....one sec" I replied turning around to ask Midas.

Midas was still sleeping so I had to go over and wake him up. I started lightly shaking him until his eyes started to open.

"Good morning darling" Midas said with a smile.
"Good morning, there is a henchmen at the door asking about what to do with the rose gold woman" I explained.
"Oh, here I'll talk to him" Midas replied standing up.

I followed him to the door and just stood next to him listening.

"Bring her to the yacht and put her into the basement in storage" Midas ordered.
"Yes sir" with that the henchmen left.

Midas and I started getting ready for the day until we heard another knock at the door.

"I'll get it" Midas groaned.
"I'll get it so you can find a shirt" I giggled.

I walked over to the door and saw TNTina at the door.

"What's up?" I asked.
"I just needed to tell Midas that Bomb is going to have to take a sick day since she's been throwing up all morning" TNTina explained.
"I'll let him know" I told her as she walked away.

I closed the door and finished getting ready.

"TNTina wanted me to tell you that Bomb is taking a sick day today since she's been throwing up all morning"
"Okay"

We both went to the lounge room to get his coffee and and my breakfast. Once we got what we needed we both went to Midas' office. I ate in his office and then helped him organize papers and files. It only took me an hour until I had finished. I stood up to leave, but Midas started to speak.

"Dont forget about the meeting later at 10:30"
"I won't" I replied heading to the lounge room.

*10:30am*
Everyone was in the meeting waiting for Midas to start.

"Okay, so today I have a mission for you. Everyone will be in groups of 2, Y/n and I, Skye and Meowscles, TNTina and Maya, and then our last group is Brutus and Peely. Y/n and I will be going to Steamy Stacks to gather some of the purple water. Skye and Meowscles will go to Slurpy Swamp to gather slurp juice. TNTina and Maya will go to the Rig to get more propane tanks while Brutus and Peely head to the Grotto to get more weapons and more ammo. Everyone is dismissed" Midas explained.
"Why do we need the purple water from Steamy?" I asked.
"I need it for my upcoming project" Midas replied.

I just nodded my head, was this part of his master plan he had mentioned before? What was his master plan?

"Y/n, you okay you look lost in thought" Midas asked sounding concerned.
"I'm fine" I replied standing up to go get ready.

Once Midas and I were ready we hopped into his helicopter and flew to Steamy Stacks. We grabbed the 4 empty chug jug containers and filled them up. Once they were full they were extremely heavy. We put them back into the helicopter and flew back to the Agency.

"Where do we take these?" I asked.
"Just let the henchmen, they know where to bring them" Midas replied.
"I have nothing else do to so I'll help them out" I said grabbing a jug.
"You really don't need to do that" Midas said in an almost nervous tone.
"I know but I want to" I replied.
"Uhh well-"
"Is there something you're not telling me"
"No i just-"
"Midas, you're hiding something from me. Now what is it" I raised my voice from frustration.
"It's part if the master plan I have"
"What exactly are you planning?"
"It's uhhh nothing important"
"Midas, it's obviously important. What is it?"

Midas grabbed my arm and pulled me
into his office.

"Y/n it's a plan to save the world. Now, darling please quit asking questions" Midas said.

I got up and walked out of the room. I went to the training room to find Meowscles.

"Hey Meow, can I speak to you for a sec?" I asked.
"Yeah, what's up?"
"Do you know anything about Midas' 'Master Plan' I was wondering if you did since you're his best friend" I asked.
"No, Meow I wish I could help" Meowscles replied heading back to the gym section.

I watched him walk over and as he was walking he tapped his earpiece and started talking, but I couldn't make out what he was saying. I had a guess though, he was probably telling Midas about our conversation we just had.

I decided just to go to the lounge room to look for the girls and only saw Maya.

"Where's Skye?" I asked.
"In her room grabbing a new movie for us to watch" Maya replied.
"Okay" I said sitting on the couch next to her.

Skye walked in not too long afterwards and started the movie. We watched the whole movie.

It was time for lunch so we went and made ourselves sandwiches. It was an extremely hot day so we didn't go outside that much.

"It is too hot today" Skye said.
"Yeah, we should ask Midas to add a swim section to the training room to practice swimming" Maya said.
"You are a genius!" Skye and I yelled.
"Let's go talk to him now" I suggested.

We all walked out and headed for Midas' office. We knocked on the door, but didnt hear a response. I opened the door and saw that he wasnt in his office.

"He's not in his office" I told the girls.
"Maybe he is in his room" Skye suggested.
"Let's go look" I replied.

We all headed for his room and knocked on the door.

"Come in" Midas yelled.

We all walked in to see him pacing around his room.

"Hey, we were wondering if we could have a pool section added to the training room so we could practice our swimming skills" I told him.

He stopped and looked at us. We all stood in silence for about 2 minutes

"If you guys would use the pool then sure, swimming is something everyone needs to practice" Midas said.
"Yay!" Sky squealed.
"I'm gonna talk to Midas then I will meet you guys in the lounge room" I whispered to the girls as they walked out.

"Is everything okay?" I asked.
"No" he replied.
"What's bothering you?" I questioned.
"You, it's not your fault though. I'm just debating, because if I tell you about my plan you can't tell a single person"
"I won't Midas, you can trust me" I told him grabbing his hand.
"My plan is..."
