Chapter 55: Bad Day with Good Planning

I woke up with a bad headache and a sneezing fit.

"Bless you darling" I heard Midas sleepily tell me.
"Th-thank" I sneezed, "you"
"Are you alright, you've sneezed a lot"
"I'm alright my allergies must be acting up today. That's all, I'll be fine later" I said right before sneezing again.
"What would've made your allergies go crazy?" He asked.
"I'm honestly not sure, could've been when we went running" I replied.
"Yeah, it probably was. Is there anything we can do to help with your allergies?"
"I could take some allergy medicine if the nurse has some"
"You get ready and I'll go get some from the nurse" he said as he began to stand up.
"Okay, thank you. You might want to get dressed first though" I told him.
"Yeah, probably" he replied blushing a little bit.

We began getting ready for the day and I kept sneezing every now and then. We finished getting ready at the same time.

"I'll meet you in the lounge room with the allergy medicine, darling"
"Okay, I'll be making your coffee then" I replied.

We walked out of my room, Midas turning to the left and I turned to the right. I sneezed a few more times on my way to the lounge room.

I made my coffee and started making Midas' as he came in. He handed the two little capsules to me and I took them.

"Thanks dear" I told him.
"Anything for you darling" he replied giving me a kiss.

I finished making his coffee and handed it to him.

"Thank you" he said taking a sip, "I've been making my own coffee for years yet somehow yours is so much better" he smiled.
"Not sure how" I shrugged.
"Me neither, anyways I need to go  work. I have a lot to do today"
"Can I help you with any of it?" I asked.
"Yeah, you can but you don't have to" he replied.
"I've got nothing else to do" I told him as we walked to his office.

When we got in there Midas and I sat in our seats.

"You might need your laptop" he told me.
"Okay, I'll be right back I'm gonna go get it"
"Okay darling"

I left and walked to my room. I opened the door to see a box of chocolates sitting on my desk. I walked over to the box of chocolates and found a note on them.

Darling,
I have a small favor. Could you go to the yacht with Meow?

The yacht, with Meow? I wonder what he needed there with Meow. I just shrugged it off and grabbed my laptop. I went back to Midas' office to see him no longer in there. I set my laptop down on his desk and headed outside.

Meow was already in a boat. I hopped into the boat and we drove off heading for the yacht. It took a few minutes but we eventually arrived. My headache also began easing up on the drive here so it was fully gone by the time we got here.

I got out of the boat to hop up onto the yacht. I turned to face Meow who was now driving away. How am I supposed to get home now?

I turned around and decided to walk around the yacht to see if anyone was here. I didn't see anyone else here so I decided to just sit on the seats upstairs and look off in the distance at the water.

I tapped my earpiece to try and get ahold of Midas, but he didn't respond at all. I got bored just sitting there so I decided to walk around and get a closer look at everything. I've been here a few times, but never realised how nice everything actually was.

I walked down to the bottom level which must've been a level for storage. I walked to the back and saw a vault that was the same as the one at the Agency.

I left that room and started looking around at the other rooms, one had a desk, another had beds. There was an area that looked like a small kitchen.

I walked to the front to see two boats hanging up and statues everywhere, including the woman from the beach. They were all solid gold, besides the rose gold woman.

The day popped into my head and I sat down on the floor. I was just peacefully floating around like everyone else. I then accidentally bumped into her and she got mad. The girls backed me up and it became a fist fight where I accidentally changed her to rose gold. Now she's here completely solid and lifeless. I began to tear up realizing I let my anger take over that day and how I didn't listen to Midas when he said to calm down. It was all my fault that she was now nothing but a statue.

I felt a tear roll down my cheek and I wiped it away. I stood up to become face to face with Midas who was smiling. His smile and happy face immediately changed to a concerned one.

"What's wrong darling?" He asked.
"Remember at the beach when I turned her to that" I stated as I pointed at the rose gold statue.
"Yeah"
"I took an innocent life that day because I let my emotions take over" I said looking at the ground now ashamed.
"Don't let it get to you, it's not your fault. She's the one who snapped from you accidentally bumping into her. Besides look at how many are rose gold compared to how many are gold" he told me.

I looked around to see probably around 20 gold statues with just the 1 rose gold.

"You've also had your gold touch longer than I've had mine"
"That doesn't matter" he said hugging me.
"Why did you want me here?" I asked changing the subject.
"To talk about our honeymoon alone"
"Okay"

We walked upstairs to the main part of the yacht and sat down together.

"Did you bring your laptop?" He asked.
"Oh, I left it on your desk"
"That's alright, I brought mine and we only need one"
"Okay"
"First, where we are going to stay. I thought about maybe staying at the cabins near Misty and then touring Misty Meadows" he explained.
"That's sounds lovely"
"Is that what you want to do love?"
"Yes"
"Perfect, now which cabin do we want to stay at?" He asked as he showed me the different cabins on his laptop.

They were all down the hill from Apres Ski. We talked about each of them and decided on the one in the middle of the three. It had three stories, the bottom being a laundry room and bathroom, the middle one being a kitchen and dining area, while the top was the bedroom.

He reserved the cabin for the whole week after our wedding. Our wedding was now in three days, I was excited and nervous for it.

We talked about what we wanted for the different days. We finally had everything for our honeymoon planned out after about an hour and a half.

"Let's go get some lunch shall we?" He suggested holding his arm out for me.
"We shall" I replied wrapping my arm around his.

We held each others arms as we walked to the helipad where his helicopter was.

"Where do you want to go love?" He asked me.
"How about Tacos in Retail Row, I used to go there all the time when I lived there"
"Then that's where we shall go" he replied.

We hopped into the helicopter and flew off to Tacos in Retail Row.
