Chapter 8: Showtime...yikes

I looked at Midas and made sure I wasn't touching anything. He looked at me confused as I looked around making sure not to touch anything.
"What are you doing, darling?" Midas questioned.
"Not touching anything else so I don't change it too." I replied as Midas tried to hug me to comfort me. "Don't! I- I don't wanna hurt you." I yelled causing everyone to look over.
"Love, you can't" Midas assured me grabbing my hand.
Once our hands touched we both pulled back.
"Ow!" We yelled together while looking at each other confused.
"Ok what going on?" Meowscles asked walking over to us seeing the waffle maker. "Oh."
"W-why did that happen?" I asked Midas looking at my hands and up to him.
"I-I don't know" He said with worry in his voice.
"What happened?" Meowscles asked.
"I burnt myself on the waffle maker making it turn rose gold, I backed into Midas and he said it was fine and grabbed my hands and it was almost like we shocked each other but it hurt a lot worse" I exclaimed.
"Oh" Meowscles said.
"It's probably because she hasn't figured her powers out yet so her rose gold touch and my gold touch just conflicted" Midas said trying to sound like he knew what he was talking about but I knew he didn't.
"Yeah..." I agreed.
"Well then let me teach you how to control your powers" Midas told me.
We walked out of the lounge room and headed downstairs to the training room. Midas went into the office room and grabbed a package of pencils.
"Turn this" he said handing me a pencil.
As soon as just grabbed it, it changed into solid rose gold.
"Good, now hold this one without changing it" he handed me another pencil, but it changed into rose gold.
"Okay, think about the pencil not changing" he hands me another.
This time it doesn't change.
"Now change it" Midas says and I do so then smile at him.
"I did it!" I exclaimed.
"Good job love" Midas congratulated me while smiling. "Here hold another but don't think about it."
I grabbed the pencil and nothing happened, he nodded and I changed it.
"Ok, hold my hand" he extended his hand and I hesitantly grabbed it, but nothing happened.
"Looks like you've already got it under control"
"That wasn't as difficult as I thought it was gonna be" I said as we walked back to the lounge.
I got my yogurt and started eating it as I went and sat next to the girls and Meowscles.
"Is everything alright? Can you control your touch now?" Skye asked.
"Yep," I said as I grabbed the pencil off of the table and changed it handing it to her.
"Cool, not gonna lie I like yours more than Midas' gold" Skye whispered loudly.
"I heard that" Midas said.
Skye just blushed as we giggled. Midas grabbed his coffee and came and sat on the couches with us. (2 L couches so like a u couch made from 2 L couches.) Once we all finished up we all headed for the meeting room to talk about what had happened at the party.
"Glad you're all here. Now let's begin. Yesterday at the party towards the end we had 4 people faint. The girls, but just the girls nobody else. Did anyone see any suspicious activities last night?" Midas asked everyone.
Everyone looked around at each other shaking their heads. Midas sighed and sat back in his seat thinking.
"Was their something you girls ate or drank or did that no one else did?" Midas asked.
We looked at each other and thought.
"Oh, we all wore the same perfume it was y/n's new Rose one" TNTina stated.
"Hmm....Y/n why don't you go get your perfume and bring it here" Midas told me.
"Ok I'll go get it" I said leaving the room and getting the perfume. Once I got back I handed it to him.
He examined the bottle and noticed a large fingerprint on it. "It's been modified"
"What?" I asked.
"Look," he said pointing at the fingerprint making us girl's all gasp.
"What would they out in it to make us all randomly pass out after wearing it for hours?" Maya asked.
"Not sure, could be many things but I bet I know who did it." Brutus blurted.
"Nightbloods," Midas growled. (The 100 reference I had to lolz)
"What are nightbloods?" I asked as everyone quickly looked at me.
"Who not what. Their an organization that have always hated Ghost" Midas explained.
"Oh"
"We need a plan to just get rid of them" Peely said.
"We could blow em' up" TNTina blurted.
"Hold off on that thought. We start by getting the choppers ready. We can fill them with grenades and propane tanks. TNTina will be in charge on the bombs. We will have Maya with the sniper with a couple henchmen who will also have snipers. Brutus, Meowscles, and I will go down first from the helicopters and attack first then Skye and y/n will join us. Everyone bring your signature guns and have grenades on you." Midas explained.
Everyone nodded.
"Lets go" Midas said as everyone quickly got up and went to get ready.
I went to my room and grabbed my Tactical Shotgun, "Nice to see you Rose" I said as I turned it to Rose Gold. I went to the armory and grabbed extra ammo and put on a grenade holder and hooked some grenades onto it. We all ran up to the helicopters and hopped in. The henchman were in charge of flying. I didn't know here the Nightbloods had their base until we left and went to a nearby island. The island players would spawn on if it were in a game. Once we got their TNTina grabbed a propane tank.
"Everyone grab a propane tank! Throw them down and once they hit the ground shoot them to cause them to explode!" TNTina shouted to everyone.
Everyone did so and the buildings there were gone and all that was left were the people, the Nightbloods. Some of them died in the explosions. Brutus, Meowscles and Midas hopped down and started shooting while Maya smiled some people. Then through the earpiece Skye and I were told to go down so we went down and shot people down. Midas was all good and I was almost fully rose gold. The only part that wasn't rose gold was my left foot and ankle and bottom part of my calf. Just my luck too, their was a guy hiding who shot my left calf right above my ankle. I didn't let that stop and went crazy on them tossing grenades and shooting as many as I could. I was losing blood fast but the fight was almost over so I had to keep going. They had finally all been finished off without a single person left when I collapsed.

Midas' POV

We had won and finished them all off.
"Alright let's head back" I hollered to everyone. "Is everyone here?"
Everyone looked around to see if everyone was here.
"We are missing y/n sir" Meowscles replied.
I jumped down from the helicopter and started searching for her. She was behind a rock bleeding very quickly. I picked her up bridal style and ran back to the helicopter.
"We need to get back fast she's bleeding a lot!" I yelled got he henchmen flying and Skye helped me bandage Y/n's leg. Once we got to the Agency I ran y/n upstairs to the medical room and the nurse began surgery to remove the bullet from her leg. I sat next to y/n hiding her hand waiting for her to wake up. About 10 minutes later she started to open her eyes and finally opened them.
"Wh- what happened?" Y/n asked as she sat up and looked around.
"You were shot in the leg and passed out from losing too much blood" I responded.

Y/n POV
"Oh" I said as I tried standing up but stumbled.
Midas caught me and put my left arm over his shoulder helping me walk. The nurse left and came back with crutches for me to use to make it a little easier for me to move on my own.
"You won't be able to do anything until you're completely healed" the nurse told me as we left.
"Thank you for everything" I told the nurse as we left and headed downstairs to help unpack everything from the helicopters but it was already finished by the time we got down there.
"Everyone's probably in the lounge room" Midas stated, "I'll be in my office if you need anything"
"Ok" I replied as I walked of to the lounge room.
I opened the door and everyone looked over and saw me. Skye ran up to me and almost knocking me over with her hug.
"Woah Skye don't wanna knock me over." I chuckled.
"Sorry I was just really worried about you" Skye apologised.
"It's okay" I replied as we walked over to the couch
and sat down with everyone else.
We started watching some movies until it was late.
"Alright I'm heading to bed" Brutus said.
"Me too" said Peely.
"Me three" added Maya.
"I think we should all go to bed after the day we have had." Stated Meowscles.
"I agree" I added.
"Do you need help?" Asked TNTina concerned.
"No I'm alright"
"I meant with the stairs"
"I've got her" Midas said walking into the room.
"Okay" TNTina said walking out and yawning.
"Lets go," Midas said putting his arm around my waist.
