Chapter 77: A Problem Ends To Only Start Another

We stood there looking out the window for a  couple minutes before Midas broke the silence.

"Did you know that Marigold was dating anyone, you know when you killed her?" He asked turning to me.
"Actually yeah, I knew she was dating you. I didn't care though, all I cared about was getting the mission completed." I explained.
"Oh, so you didn't care about it hurting anyone when you killed her?" He questioned.
"Midas, I- No I didn't" I replied looking to the floor.

He used his hand and placed the tips of his fingers under my chin. He lifted my head up so I was now looking at him.

"You're lucky you're already pregnant, because if you weren't" he chuckled, "you would be tomorrow" he raised an eyebrow at me.

My eyes widened and I was surprised as to what he just said.

"So you're not mad at me?" I asked.
"No, but when you do bad things," he leaned down to eye level, "you deserve to be punished" he added.

I blushed from what he had said and he just smirked. He leaned in and kissed me. He turned around and went back to his desk. He sat down and began working on his paperwork.

I turned back to look out the window and just stood there. He kept working as I watched Maya and Brutus outside. Maya had Brutus' hand in hers and was pulling him behind her. They ran down to the back dock and hopped into the boat before driving away.

I turned around and sat in my seat when Midas slammed his fist down onto the table. I jumped from his suddenness and looked at him. He got up so quickly he caused his chair to fall backwards. He left his office leaving me there.

I then saw Diamond follow behind him. I sat there confused, he seemed calm when he sat down. What was he mad about?

"Ow" I said holding my stomach from the sudden pain.

The pain kept getting worse and worse and felt almost like a period cramp. Yet the cramp was 10x the amount of pain as a normal cramp. I started coughing and felt something in my throat. I ran over to the trash bin and threw up blood.

I felt a hand on my back as I threw up more blood. I then felt my hair being held back for me. I kept throwing up more and more blood and couldn't stop.

I finally stopped and stood up straight. It turned around to see Meow and Skye looking at me sadly. I tried to smile, but my vision went blurry and I collapsed into Meows arms.

3rd Person POV
Y/n was being held in Meows arms. He carried her bridal style towards the medical room with Skye following behind. They passed by Midas who ran after them.

"What happened? Is she okay?" Midas asked panicking.
"I'm not sure, we found her in your office throwing up blood into the trash bin" Meow explained.

Midas' POV
I looked at y/n scared for her and the baby. She was throwing up blood which I knew wasn't good. Meow, Skye and I ran up to the medical room with y/n in Meows arms.

When we got in there he set her down on the medical bed and the nurse came over. First he checked her pulse and looked at me as his face went pale.

"She is still alive, but barely hanging on" he stated.

The three of us backed up as the nurse injected something into y/n's arm. He looked at his watch and then checked her pulse a few seconds later. He let out a deep breath of relief and smiled at me.

"She should be okay, but what happened?" The nurse asked.
"We found her throwing up blood in M's office" Meow stated.
"Oh that's not good. Umm....has she sustained any major or minor injuries in the past 24 hours?" The nurse asked.
"This morning Drift cut her a few times, slapped her, and threw her to the side causing her to hit her head on the counter knocking her out" I explained, "other then that, nothing" I added.
"Is that all Drift did?" The nurse asked.
"When I was in there yes, but before I was in there I'm not sure" I replied.
"She said he pinned her against the counter, pushing her into the counter" Skye stated.
"Hmm... okay well I need to do a couple tests and run a couple scans but in order to do that you three wait in the hallway" The nurse stated.
"Okay" I replied as we all went to the hallway.

*time skip*

The nurse walked out of the medical room and came to me. I looked at him and he nodded.

"Follow me" he stated.

I nodded and the three of us began to follow him back into the room.

"Only Midas for right now. I need to inform him alone before there are more visitors please" the nurse said to Meow and Skye.

I looked at them and they looked at me. We all looked nervous for what was about to come next. Skye then looked at Meow and Meow just nodded. I gulped and followed the nurse into the medical room.

When I got in there I could see y/n sleeping on the bed. I looked up at the nurse who was locking the door behind us. He walked over to his computer and began typing. I brought a chair over to the side of y/n's bed and sat down. I grabbed her hand in mine and I could feel tears swelling up.

I quickly wiped them away making sure the nurse hadn't seen. I never cried infront of anyone, besides y/n. I hadn't even cried infront of Marigold when we were together.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up at who the hand belonged to, the nurse. I stood up letting go of y/n's hand. He took a deep breath before he began...

AHHHHH what's happening? Ooooooo sorry I had to do the cliffhanger it's the perfect time and I'm evil lolz. Buuuut I love you all, yet Midas loves you more! Also. Thank you all soooo much for 25k reads that's crazy!
