Chapter 63: Honeymoon in the Sky

I woke up to the noise of a helicopter flying around outside. I got up and walked over to the window to see a helicopter outside. I walked back over to the bed and woke Midas up.

"Do you know why there is a helicopter outside?" I asked him.
"Yes, we are going to take a helicopter tour of the island" he replied.
"Really?" I smiled.
"Really" he smiled back.

He sat up and I gave him a kiss. We went downstairs so he could take his shower and I could make our coffee. When we were both ready for the day it was 9am.

We went outside and walked over to the helicopter. We hopped in and the pilot began to lift off of the ground.

"We are going to go have brunch first" Midas explained to me.
"Okay, where are we going for brunch?" I asked.
"I was thinking Sticks since we both love it there" he replied.
"My favorite" I told him with a smile.

The pilot flew us to Sticks and landed nearby. Midas and I hopped out and walked into Sticks. We sat down at a table and ordered our brunch. Midas had an omelette and I had (breakfast food).

When we had both finished we paid and went back to the helicopter. We hopped in and the pilot handed us each a headset. We put them on and turned them on.

"These are for when we are in the air so you can hear me over the propellers" the pilot explained.
"Okay" I replied.
"First place we will be flying near will be the mountains, including Mount Kay."

We flew over the mountains for a while and admired their beauty. We then began to fly away from them.

"Next place is Retail Row. Retail Row consists of a few houses and many shops"
"I used to work at McGuffins bookstore" I told the pilot.
"Very nice, best bookstore on the island if I do say so myself" the pilot replied.
"It most definitely is especially when y/n worked there" Midas added.

We flew over Retail Row, but didn't spend as much time as we did at the mountains. We then began flying towards Lazy Lake.

"We are now in Lazy Lake. Lazy Lake is a city and a lake. The lake is located near Misty Meadows which will be our next location" the pilot explained.

We flew over Lazy Lake, the lake, and Misty Meadows before moving on.

"Now we will be passing over Hydro 16 and you will see the one and only Slurpy Swamp. Partially swamp water while the other is slurp juice. If you stand in it long enough you will be fully healed and will have shield."

We then passed over a dam and I saw a building which I was guessing was Hydro 16. I then saw the swamp he was speaking of. It glowed a teal color, but literally glowed. I looked over at Midas who didn't look amazed by the swamp. I on the other hand was shocked that this even existed. A swamp full of a liquid that can heal you.

"If you look off into the distance you can see The Rig. Now we will be heading to Weeping Woods"

Soon enough there were lots of trees everywhere. I eventually saw three cabins with blue green rooves. I even saw a campfire with tents and a playground.

"We are now nearing Holly Hedges. Holly Hedges is a small town yet very pretty with all of the Hedges. It even had a hedge arch."
"We actually got married at that hedge arch" I explained.
"Beautiful place to have a wedding" the pilot commented.

We flew over Holly Hedges and eventually started off towards Sweaty Sands.

"Sweaty Sands with its wonderful beach and delicious icecream at Softdeez"

We flew over the beach and could see the people on the beach waving to us. We waved back and flew towards the lighthouse.

"To the left you can see The Shark. It was once an office building, but was turned into a prison. Infront of us is Lockie's Lighthouse"

I looked to the left and saw the Shark. It was very interesting how the rocks actually made it look like a shark. We neared the lighthouse and flew around it a few times before flying off.

"Pleasant Park, known for its soccer field. During the war there was a secret bunker where Shadow had a base hidden underneath the soccer field."

We flew over Pleasant Park and hovered over the soccer field. I wondered how they managed to put in a bunker under the soccer field without anyone noticing. I also wondered if it was still there.

"Now we are going to fly over Craggy Cliffs and Frenzy Farm. Craggy Cliffs is famous for its restaurant, Sticks."

We flew over Craggy Cliffs and then flew to Frenzy Farm.

"Frenzy Farm has grown the island's food for many years. In fact it is the largest farm in the entire world"

We began flying over Frenzy Farm. I knew it was large, but to see the whole thing from above made it look a lot bigger. I also didn't realise it was the largest in the whole world.

"Now going by Steamy Stacks, this powers the whole island"

With that we were flying over two large stacks surrounded by buildings.

"In the distance is the yacht"
"My yacht, actually" Midas added.
"Very nice sir, next location is Dirty Docks and then the Grotto"

We flew along the shoreline passing over Dirty Docks and to a cliff. The side of the cliff looked like a skull.

"Next we will be flying over Risky Reels, The Agency, and Salty Springs"

We flew by Frenzy Farm once again and neared Risky Reels. I could see the large screen and all the parked cars. I then saw the Agency in all its glory on it's own island. We flew over a small town which must've been Salty Springs.

"And that is your tour for the day, if you would like to leave a tip it is very much appreciated. Now, we shall head back to your cabin."

Midas pulled his wallet out and stuck a $50 bill in the tip jar. He put his wallet back into his pocket and put his arm around me. I looked up at him and smiled and he smiled back.

We flew back to the cabin and hopped out once the pilot landed. The pilot took off and we headed inside. It had started to get dark on the ride back to the cabin. I looked at the clock in our room and saw that it was 6:30pm.

"Are you hungry darling?" Midas asked.
"Yeah" I replied.
"I'll make dinner while you take a shower" he told me.
"Alright, thank you dear" I replied giving him a kiss on his cheek.

I went downstairs to the bathroom and began taking a shower. When I finished my shower I wrapped my towel around me and walked upstairs to the bedroom. As I walked through the kitchen I could see Midas making dinner. He was also sweating so his hair stuck to his forehead. It was really hot in the kitchen so it was understandable.

I went to the bedroom and put my pajamas on. I went back into the kitchen to see Midas setting the table. I began helping him set the table and bring the food over.

We sat down and began eating and talking about the tour.

"What did you think of the tour?" Midas asked.
"It was nice, there are a lot of places I didn't even know about"
"Like what?"
"Salty Springs, Dirty Docks, Slurpy Swamp, Weeping Woods, ummm..... and Pleasant Park, well the bunker part. I knew about Pleasant Park because of the soccer field." I replied.
"You must've not traveled much then"
"Nope, I mainly stayed around Retail Row and Lazy Lake."
"We should go to all the places you haven't been to" Midas said.
"That would be fun" I smiled.

We finished eating and cleaned the table. We washed the dishes together before heading upstairs for bed.
