Chapter 70: The Results

"Okay I'll be right up" I replied.
"Sorry, I missed that" Midas said turning to me.
"Huh? Oh I was just thinking outloud" I lied.
"Oh ok" he smiled.
"I need to head to my room real quick I'll meet you in the lounge room"
"Okay, I'll have your coffee ready for you"
"Thanks"
"No problem"

I turned and headed towards my room very slowly. When I saw Midas go into the lounge room I went over to the stairs. I headed up to the medical room. When I got to the door I stopped and took a deep breath to prepare myself for whatever he was going to say.

I walked inside and the nurse was typing away on his computer. I walked over to him and he slowly stopped typing. He leaned back in his chair and looked at me.

"Y/n, the results came back. You have nothing wrong with you"
"Oh, well that's good"
"But"
"I knew there was gonna be a but"
"You do happen to be pregnant"
"Yeah, I had a feeling I was pregnant"
"Well, now you know for sure. Just remember whatever you do including your actions, what you eat and what you drink will effect the baby. So be extremely cautious from now until the birth. After that you may eat or drink anything you desire" he told me.
"I know" I nodded.
"That's all, you may go"
"Okay"

I turned around and walked out of the medical room. I was pregnant, I was pregnant and with Midas' child. I began grinning just thinking about it. I headed down to the lounge room.

When I got in there I saw everyone sitting at the table. I saw my Beauty mug sitting on the table where I normally sit. Midas looked at me and smiled his perfect smile. I walked over to the table and sat down. Everyone looked at me confused.

"Why are you so happy today?" Brutus asked.
"Huh?" Oh umm" I began blushing.
"Yeah, you're not normally this happy? What happened?" Maya asked.
"Well" I turned to face Midas "I'm" I stood up, "pregnant" I smiled.
"Wait" Midas stood up and held my hands "really!?" He smiled.

I nodded and he embraced me in a hug. Everyone began cheering and clapping saying congrats and congratulations.

"I'm gonna be a dad!" Midas cheered.

I giggled at his excitement. Meow got up as well as Peely and Brutus. The guys talked as the girls came over to me.

"You're pregnant yayyy!!" Skye squealed.
"Congrats, now I wonder if the baby is going to have some type of touch like you and Midas have" TNTina said wiggling her fingers at me when she said touch.
"Maybe, I'm not sure" I replied shrugging.
"I hope it's a girl" Bomb said.
"Me too!" Skye agreed.
"I don't care what it is as long as I get to teach it how to use a rocket launcher!" TNTina smiled.

We all looked at her like she was crazy.

"Too soon?" She asked and we all nodded.
"I'm gonna teach it to love the outdoors and to go on adventures" Skye said.
"I'll teach it the basics of weaponry" Maya added.
"I'm gonna teach it how to skate" Bomb smiled.

I looked over at Midas to see him sitting in his chair with his head in his hands. He looked stressed and worried. Brutus, Peely, and Meow were all trying to comfort him. The girls looked over and saw him too. They went silent and we slowly walked over to the guys.

"Midas? What's wrong?" I asked.
"What if I'm not a good enough dad? What if I can't always be there for the child? What if..."
"Midas these are all what ifs. They don't mean anything. You're just worried and that's normal. I know for a fact that you're going to be the best dad possible." I interrupted him.
"Okay, but we need to get ready for the baby" he said.
"We have time, I'm not going to have the baby for another 9 months" I explained.
"We can always be ready early" he added.

I stood up and so did Midas. We looked around to see everyone staring at us.

"So what are the plans for today?" Meow asked.
"None so far"
"What if we go to Sweaty since we haven't done that in a while" I suggested.
"Then let's get ready for Sweaty" Midas said.

I went over to my spot and grabbed my coffee. I brought it to my room and drank it as I got ready. I looked in my closet for a swimsuit. I found the one with the white top and black with red roses on the bottoms. I put my swimsuit on and put the cover up that Midas got me on overtop.

I finished my coffee and just set the mug on my bathroom counter. I then grabbed my sunglasses and beach hat. I put my sun glasses into my bag and put my beach hat on. I grabbed my tanning lotion, towel, water cup from the bachelorette party, and phone and put them all into my bag. I left my room and headed to Midas' room.

When I got in there he was getting his swim trunks on in his closet. I don't think he saw me come in so I saw this as an opportunity. I snuck into his bathroom and set my bag down on the floor. I hid behind his door and waited for him to come in.

He walked into his bathroom and grabbed the door. He went to close it, but stopped halfway. He let go of the door and went back into his closet. I rolled my eyes and waited for him to come back.

He didn't, instead he grabbed his towel that he had sitting on his bed and his sunscreen from his closet and began walking towards his door. I came out from behind the door and went to get my bag. I tripped on my flip flops and fell down on his tile bathroom floor with a thud.

A/n
So what do you guys think of my new story cover? I made it myself, only took like 3 to 4 hours lolz. I took a lot of picture of my left hand that was painted gold. Took lots of pictures of my right hand that wasnt painted the  sorted through to find the best ones. I then cropped the golden one and erased the background. All on a laptop so with a mouse! (Which was painful btw) I then out the golden hand onto the best picture of my right hand and added words and then boom cover lolz!
