Chapter 87: Everyone Needs to Chill

I turned around to see Midas standing there with hurt and anger is his eyes. We all just stood there frozen not knowing what to do nor say. Xavier let go of me and backed away from me. We glanced at each other and looked at Midas. I saw Midas' jaw clench, his hands ball up into fists, and the gold on his arms rise all the way up to his neck. I took a deep breath before speaking.

"Midas, I-" I began.

"Don't" Midas spat glaring at Xavier.

"It wasn't y/n, it was me" Xavier sighed as he looked to the ground.

"I know, I saw it ALL" Midas replied.

"Fuck" Xavier mumbled.

"What was that? Speak up pretty boy" Midas spat as he began walking closer to Xavier.

"Nothing that concerns you Goldilocks" Xavier spit back.

"Excuse me!? Don't forget who you're talking to!" Midas yelled.

"I won't, trust me. It's hard to forget that you're talking to a selfish bastard!"

"Selfish!? Is that what you're calling me? Last time I checked she was my wife, not yours!"

"That's only because she met you way before she met me. What did you just watch?"

"You kissing her!"

"And her not pulling away, but her kissing back!"

Midas stood there speechless, realizing that Xavier was right. I didn't pull away, but I didn't kiss back. I stood there from shock, not knowing what to do. I don't love Xavier, I love Midas. I just felt sympathetic for Xavier. Midas shouldn't have hit him like he did, but Xavier shouldn't have taken advantage of me feeling bad and kiss me.

"Well y/n, what do you have to say?" Midas asked.

"First off, I felt sympathetic for you because you got punched for a friendly gesture that you didn't mean anything by. Secondly, yes I did help get you out of that cell, but so did Meow. Lastly, you shouldn't have taken advantage of me while I felt sympathetic for you and kissed me. Yes, I didn't pull away that's because I was shocked and didn't know what to do. Yet, you make it sound like I kissed you back! I didn't kiss you back! I love Midas not you Xavier, I'm sorry!" I yelled trying to explain myself.

I felt a tear trail down my cheek and I looked down towards the floor. They were both left speechless just standing there not knowing what to say nor do. I looked back up at the guys to see them both staring at me as tears slowly ran down my cheeks.

"Aw mate, don't cry. This is all my fault" Xavier stated.

"No, it's mine. If I hadn't found you under that bridge then none of this would've happened." I argued.

"I'm the one who offered the job, it's my fault not yours y/n" Midas sighed.

"It's all of our faults, not just one. Now why don't we just push this aside. Xavier didn't know that we were married earlier and it was only a friendly gesture." I explained

"But what I just saw wasn't just a friendly gesture" Midas growled.

"True, Xavier you're gonna have to explain yourself on this one" I stated.

"There isn't much for me to say besides that I like you y/n, but I can't have you because you're already married. I'm truly sorry, but I'll be in my room getting settled in if you guys need me unless I'm fired." Xavier sighed as he made eye contact with Midas.

"You're not fired, but don't push your luck. You have very little luck right now, and remember that" Midas sternly exclaimed.

Xavier just nodded before heading towards the stairs and leaving. Midas watched him walk away before turnig back around to look at me. He just sighed and looked stressed out from the day we just had. I looked down at the floor trying to avoid eye contact. Midas walked over to me and lifted my chin with his finger. He just faintly smiled and I faintly smiled back. He pecked me on the lips before wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Now, for you. You're punishment isn't going to be getting punched or locked away. Yours will be a little bit more fun for the both of us." Midas chuckled as I just blushed from what he had just said.

"I love how I can still make you blush" Midas smirked.

Xaviers POV

A/N (You will need the song at the top halfway through the next paragraph, I'll let you know when)

I walked up the stairs rather quickly and headed straight to my room. I walked in and slammed the door behind me. I grabbed my phone off of my dresser and started playing music to drown out the world. (A/N now lolz) Once the music began I started putting things away and decorating my room. I started to sketch out how I wanted my room to be designed.

The walls and ceiling were going to be painted black while the floors were light gray wooden floors. My door to my bathroom was going to be a glass door but was frosted. I then wanted my bathroom and closet to have the same flooring and walls but in the bathroom to have black tiling in the shower. In my room the sheets were going to be black and my comforter was going to be light gray. On my wall I was going to have an 8 ball wall art hanging on the wall. Plus I wanted the other normal things you find in a room like a dresser, desk, tv, etc.

I finished sketching out the way I wanted my room and opened my door. I handed the sketch to a henchmen and he nodded before walking away with it. I decided I would go to Sweaty Sands and hangout on the beach for the rest of the day so I wasn't in the way of getting my room finished. I tapped my earpiece and left a message to Midas saying I was heading out in a boat to Sweaty Sands. I then walked outside and hopped into a boat and drove off towards Sweaty Sands.
