Chapter 5: Ends to beginnings

Midas' POV

I got into my room and immediately got ready for bed. There was a knock on the door then Meowscles came in.
"What?" I said in a stern voice.
"You know I meant no harm just teasing you" He sounded hurt as he stated this and walked out of the room closing the door.
I just ignored everything and cleared me head and went to sleep.

Y/n POV (the next morning, the day everyone is off)

I woke up to the girls opening my bedroom door slowly as if expecting something.
"What?" I asked confused.
"Oh..uh..." TNTina said as she opened the door more and looked next me on the bed.
"Never mind...." TNTina finished.
"Let's go get breakfast" Skye butted in as she grabbed my hand pulling me out of bed.

When ever we arrived in the lounge and kitchen room I went to the fridge and got some cut up fruit, greek yogurt, and got granola out of the cabinets. I mixed the granola and fruit into the yogurt and went to sit by the girls. We all just sat and are quietly till the door opened up and Midas walked in. He looks over at us and looked at me, he blushed and avoided looking in our direction the whole time he made his morning coffee.
"I kinda feel bad for last night, I mean we did this and now he's embarrassed and I've never seen him this embarrassed." Skye mentioned as she slowly stirred the little bit of cereal left in her bowl of milk.
"Me too," both TNTina and Maya agreed in unison.
I got up from the couch and walked over to Midas as the three girls looked at me surprised.

"Good morning Midas" I said as I took another bite of yogurt and stood across the island from him.
"Good morning agent." He replied without looking at me.
You look back at the girls and they nod their heads as if to tell me to keep talking. "What kind of coffee are you making?" This caught his attention.
He looked up at me confused, "umm.....regular?"
Once again I looked at the girls and they nod once again as I lipped the word 'help'. Skye got up and walked over and sat by me.
"Hey y/n, hi Midas"
"Good Morning Skye" TNTina and Maya scoffed at this. Getting a confused look from Midas before he grabbed his coffee and walked to his office to work.
"He called you Agent but actually says Skyes name?" Maya.

Midas' POV
Why did I just do that? I just ignored her. I stopped halfway down the hallway and looked back behind me and saw the girls walking into y/n room. Should I-.... why do I let her make me feel this way? Do I make her feel this way? I shrugged it off and went to my office to work even though today was my day off.

Y/n POV
Maybe I should go talk to him in his office, ya know just us two?" I suggested.
"I mean if you insist" TNTina said as she raised her hands showing she wasn't gonna stop you.
I rolled my eyes as I walked out of the room hearing them giggle. I walked up to Midas' office door I took a deep breath and closed my eyes and was about to knock right as the door open causing me to knock on Midas' vest. I immediately opened my eyes and felt the heat in my face instantly as Midas chuckled and said, " I was just gonna come ask to talk to you"
You walked into his office and sat in the seat across from his. He sat down and started, "Y/n I just need to get something off of my chest. I- I like you a lot but not in a co-worker way but a way like a love way." He looked up at me with his cheeks dusted in a pink color.
I stood up and walked over to Midas and acted mad and lifted my hand as if to slap him. He braced for impact but I just gently placed my hands on his cheeks and kissed him.

Midas POV
As soon and y/n stood up and walked to me I regretted everything I had just said until I was overwhelmed with surprise and shock to find her kissing me so I kissed her back. We parted and just started at each other's eyes. Her y/e/c eyes were just beautiful.

Y/n POV
You part and stare into his golden eye and cloudy eye yet they go together so well it's breathtaking.
The girls barged in and saw how close we were but neither of us moved we just kept admiring each other's eyes. Skye grabbed her camera and took a picture accidentally with the flash on. Midas looked in her direction and just smirked and looked at you and grabbing your waist as you both stood up together. Your hands holding his cheeks and his holding your hips and you kiss again as Skye takes more picture but without the flash.
"Oh love, I'm sorry for the way I treated you this morning." Midas apologised.
"Its okay." I assure him. "Do you really need to work on your day off?"
"No-"
"Y/n we were gonna decorate your room, he can help I don't care it's up to you." Skye reminded me.
"If you wanna help then come along if not that's up to you." I told Midas.
The girls left and went to y/n room and decided to decorate it Rose themed. Midas came in every now and then just to check on you girls but mainly left you girls to it since they knew exactly what would work perfectly.

*hours later*
Henchmen are helping with the finishing touches and it looks perfect! Pastel pink walls with white carpet, a circle mirror hanging on the wall with a frame that looks like roses intertwining, the bedding is white with different shapes and shaded red and pink roses on it. The white dresser has golden rose knobs and your closet has the same colored walls. Your bathroom has the same pastel pink walls with white tiled floors with specks of rose gold and gold which is the same as the counters. You even have your own personal red towels with rose scented candles along with rose scented soaps. It's just perfect.

It was time for dinner so everyone went to the dining room and ate their dinners. Us girls talked about my new room and how we loved it, Brutus and Peely talked about something else while Midas talked to Meowscles about me.
