Chapter 97: I Can't Lose Her

Midas' POV

I felt someone wrap their arms around me, giving me a hug. I looked and saw that it was Tina hugging me. I hugged her back and started crying into her shoulder, covering her shoulder in liquid gold. She didn't seem to care though. I could hear sobs coming from the rest as well. Yet, I was crying the hardest out of everyone. I pulled away from Tina to see her crying as well but she was trying to hide it. Skye was in Meows arms crying as Meow just held her with a blank face. Maya and Remedy both looked exhausted from attempting to save y/n. Brutus walked over to Maya and hugged her, she hugged back before breaking down and crying into his chest. Tina walked over to Bomb and cried with her as Tek rubbed both of their backs trying to help comfort them.

I looked over and saw y/n just laying there lifeless. This is all my fault, I suggested we went out to breakfast. If I wouldn't have brought her out for breakfast she wouldn't have gotten shot. I can't believe she's gone. There's got to be something I can do to bring her back. Who can I talk to, to bring her back? Chaos could've helped but he's long gone.

"Everyone besides Midas, please leave." Remedy stated.

The others just nodded and walked out of the medical room, most likely heading towards the lounge room to wait. I looked over at Remedy to see her analyzing y/n. She kept looking back at her hands every now and then. She eventually picked up one of y/n's hands and looked at it even closer.

"Remedy what is it?" I asked causing Remedy to lightly jump.

"Oh, well y/n's hands are rose gold as you know. Yet, it seems that know she has passed the rose gold is slowly taking over her corpse. I'm guessing that within the next 2 hours she's going to become a solid rose gold statue" Remedy explained.

"Well we should keep her here until she fully becomes rose gold. Once she becomes fully rose gold contact me and I will figure out what to do with her" I explained.

Remedy just nodded before placing y/n's hand back down and going over to her computer. She started typing on her computer and writing something down on a notepad. I started to think of ways to bring y/n back. There wasn't any way I could live without her in my life, I needed her. Did I even know anybody who could help? Were there any prisoners in the Shark that could help? Wait, there was one, Oro. No matter how much I hate him, he could potentially help. I highly doubt I'd be able to convince him to bring y/n back though. Maybe I won't give him a choice, he has to bring her back or he loses his life. I need to leave now though before it's too late to bring y/n back.

I started to get up from the hospital bed before I felt a sharp pain in my right side. I clutched my right side with my left hand and continued to try and stand. The pain was intense but I had to deal with it, this was the only way to bring my baby back. I stood up completely and looked over at Remedy, she hadn't noticed me yet. I took advantage of this and decided to try and sneak out of the medical room.I tiptoed over to the door and snuck out unnoticed. I quickly walked to the lounge room and opened the door to see all of the agents, they all had red faces from crying. Once they noticed me though they all tried to cover the fact that they had all been crying.

"Boss, how are you doing?" Brutus asked.

"I'm not important right now, y/n is" I stated.

"Boss, y/n is gone. I'm sorry but that's just how it is" Brutus lightly spoke.

"No, I know who can help to bring her back and I need your help to get them"

"Who are they?" Tina asked.

"Oro, this means I need Skye to come with Brutus, Meow, and I to the Shark to get Oro and bring him here"

"What if he refuses to bring y/n back?" Meow asked.

"He won't have a choice, he either does as he is told or he dies. Now we can't waste time, y/n is slowly becoming a solid rose gold statue. Remedy said we have about 2 hours" I stated as I ran out the door.

I could hear Skye, Meow, and Brutus following behind me as we all sprinted out to the helicopter. Meow hopped into the pilots seat as I sat in the back with Skye and Brutus. I clutched my side once again as the pain settled in.

"Bossman, what's wrong?" Skye asked.

"I'm just a little sore, that's all" I replied.

~time skip~

We finally arrived at the Shark and hopped out almost immediately, running inside and towards Oro's cell. When we got to the door Oro was inside his cell just sitting there doing nothing. Skye unlocked the door and opened it. I walked in and Oro looked at me with a curious manner.

"Oro, you're coming with us. I will explain why on the way" I stated as I showed him out of his cell.

Surprisingly he didn't question or anything, he just followed us to the helicopter. Once again Meow drove as the rest of us sat in the back.

"Alright so Oro. You are going to bring y/n back to life. If you decide to refuse, it will cost you your life"

"What's in this for me? I get to survive and continue spending countless days in a cell? I'm going to need more than just that"

"I will make sure you are treated like a guest and are provided with things to do instead of treated like a prisoner"

"Hmm... deal"

"Good, it's either that or die"

~Time skip~

We arrived at the Agency and immediately all ran inside towards the medical room. We had 5 minutes before the 2 hours were up. I swung the door open and Oro walked in. Remedy looked rather startled at our abrupt entrance. Oro walked over to y/n's bedside and started saying something of another language as he held his hand over y/n's lifeless body.

"Adunich mahazirim at hanashma hamschena lgoff hasar hachaim hazeh. Lo hagai le lemot adin. Ani uruh elich saren at hapkuda hazot." Oro boldly stated.

A/N

What Oro said is Hebrew for "Thy lords bring the poor soul back to this lifeless body. She didn't deserve to die quite yet. I Oro order you to complete this command." Anyways hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. My book is coming to an end and it's kind of sad. I'll still write more of course, like a one shot book. Also, me publishing a chapter in the middle of the week instead of Friday... that's different. I still plan to publish a chapter Friday though.
