Chapter 83: Mission Meeting

I looked down at Midas to see him smirking. He was awake the whole entire time. Oh, two can play at this game. I looked up to the others and smiled. They looked confused and I just tilted my head towards Midas.

TNTina looked annoyed, she understood. She whispered to Meow and Bomb and they looked over at Midas, also annoyed. I mouthed 'come here' and they walked over.

"Tickle" I whispered.

Meow began tickling Midas causing him to tense and try to stay as still as possible. Midas failed and began laughing and let go.

"I KNEW YOU WEREN'T ALSEEP!" I yelled.
"Meow! St-stop!" Midas squealed.

Meow stopped tickling Midas and Midas tried to catch his breath. Tina and Bomb both just started giggling.

"Wow, Bossman is ticklish. Who would've guessed?" Tina laughed as she slapped her knee.

Midas glared at her and she immediately stopped laughing. I looked over at Midas and glared at him.

"Midas we missed the morning meeting because of you!" I exclaimed.
"It's alright, I'm the one who scheduled it so I'll just reschedule it" Midas shrugged.

I rolled my eyes and looked back at Bomb and Tina. They were holding Diamond and playing with her. I got out of the bed and walked over to them. I grabbed Diamonds nametag which read, 'Diamond' on the front. On the back it read, '(your phone number)'. I turned her nametag to rose gold before letting it go.

The girls looked at it and smiled. I walked to the closet and looked through my clothes. I didn't know what to wear since I didn't know what we were going to do today. I walked back into the bedroom to only see Midas.

"What are the plans for today?" I asked.
"To find Shadow Tina and Shadow Skye." He replied.
"Mission day, got it!" I stated before heading back into the closet.

I grabbed my usual outfit, black leggings, white crop top with roses and some black combat boots. I got changed and walked into the bathroom. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, and put my hair up into a ponytail.

I left the bathroom to see Midas tying his tie. I walked over to him and grabbed his tie finishing tying it for him.

"I didn't know you knew how to tie a tie" Midas stated.
"Well, when I dated Drift he didn't know how so I learned for him. You know how dumb he is" I rolled my eyes at the last part.
"True" he agreed.

Once I finished he went into the bathroom to fix his hair. He had one piece of hair sticking straight up. It was kinda funny. He got it wet and combed it down. It stayed for a few seconds before popping back up. He sighed before combing it down again, once again it popped back up.

He opened a drawer and pulled out a contained of hair gel. He started opening it until I walked in and set my hand on his. He stopped and looked at me confused. I smiled and grabbe cthe hair gel. I put it back into his drawer and went over to my drawer. I pulled out a small hairbrush and a squirt bottle with water. I walked up behind him.

"Midas, you're too tall" I giggled.
"Maybe you're just short" he smirked before crouching down.

I rolled my eyes before squirting his hair with the water. I started brushing his hair down. It stayed for a little bit but stuck back up. Midas chuckled and I huffed. I grabbed his comb and combed it down. This time it stayed down and didn't pop back up. I smiled at him in the mirror and he smiled back.

"Thanks, love"
"Your welcome"

Midas stood back up and was now taller than me once again. He was probably about 4 inches taller than me. Therefore not a lot, but enough to make a difference.

We left his room and headed to the lounge room. Nobody else was in there, they were probably in the meeting room. We made our coffee and headed to the meeting room. I saw everyone sitting and talking. Midas and I went and sat in our seats.

"As you all most likely already know, Shadow Skye and Shadow Tina managed to escape the Shark. We need to find them by the end of today. If we don't, we will have to stay up until we do fine them. You all the danger that they cause. No one is safe as long they're out" he explained.

Everyone just nodded in agreement.

"We will go in pairs, each pair will have a code number. I will let you all choose your partners and I will come up with code numbers from there" he stated.

Everyone was shocked but happy.

Everyone started talking to one another about who was going to be whose partners. I looked around and noticed that Bomb wasn't in here with us. I looked at Midas.

"Where is Bomb?" I asked Midas.
"She is training the new employee, Tek. We needed another person to help Bomb with engineering"
"Oh, got it. We're partners right?"
"Of course" he smiled and I smiled back.
"Alright, everyone got your partners?" Midas asked everyone.

Everyone nodded.

"Okay, Meow who is your partner?" Midas questioned.
"Skye" Meow replied.
"Brutus?"
"Maya"
"K, therefore Peely and Tina"

Tina just nodded.

"Meow and Skye your code number is 26. Brutus and Maya you guys are 42, leaving Peely and Tina with 84. Y/n and I are 13. No saying real names call everyone by your group numbers only. Stay together at all times, start at one of your guys' locations and make your way to the others location. If you hear anything or see anything about Shadow Skye or Shadow Tina immediately let me know. Be ready in 5 minutes to leave, dismissed" Midas stated.

Everyone got up and left with their partners. Midas and I grabbed each others hands and headed to the lobby to wait for everyone. Everyone was ready just in time and we all left.

Midas and I took his helicopter. Meow and Skye took a helicopter as well. Maya and Brutus took a boat while Tina and Peely took quadcrasers. Midas sat in the pilot seat and we took off, heading towards Lazy Lake. I technically didn't have a location so I was in charge of Lazy Lake, Misty Meadows and the lake itself plus the dam.
