I was sitting in the cafe that jin asked me to come to, sipping on my water, I looked at the menu wanting to order.
I resisted it because I had to wait for jin, we met each other through a dating app, I couldn't believe that he could go on one.
Considering his status, I thought he wouldn't, but I ended up meeting the hyung of bangtan, and as a fangirl, my life couldn't get better.
We met each other once in two weeks but considering his schedule and our time together, it was a pretty huge thing.
We had actually taken the next step by sleeping together and my feelings actually started becoming serious for him.
When he called me here today, saying he has something to say I felt ecstatic. We went on a few dates and the night but we didnt label each other yet.
I saw his figure walk in with a mask on his face and a hat. Thankfully this cafe was not popular at all so there were just two or three people including me.
He sat down expressionlessly and took a sip of water from the cup. I smiled brightly at him, it soon turned to a frown when I saw his emotionless face.
He pulled his mask down and looked at me, as if he was hesitating to say what he wanted to say.
" Jin is everything okay? " I asked him, he nodded but shook his head again making me confused.
" I don't know, y/n you had something to say as well didnt you? Can you go first? " he cleared his throat.
" Why dont we order something first? " I called for the waiter and asked for a strawberry frappucino.
Jin chose to have an americano, I held his hand in my hand, he somehow looked uncomfortable.
" Jin I know it hasn't been long since we were going out. " I said and took a really deep breath.
He looked tense at my forst sentence, making me question my choices, before he could say anything, a waitress walked towards us.
Placing our drinks on the table, she smiled at us as she tried to take a peek at jin.
I mean I would do it too, he had such a handsome face.
Attention probably came to him all the time because he was definetely better than any other men I've ever seen.
He smiled at the waitress as she blushed, she had most definetely recognized him, I was surprised ar how easily he trusted her.
" Jin won't you be in trouble if she exposes us? " I asked him feeling a little weird.
" A true ARMY would not, and even if she did, the other ARMY will support me and, she chose to go away respecting our privacy " he didnt even take a sip.
He looked at me as if signalling me to continue what I wanted to say.
" Jin, what are we? I really wanted to make it like official, we dont have to announce to the public-" without noticing his face I blabbered on.
" I think I like you and it's too soon to say the I love you, but I think I really really like you and I want you as my boyfrien- " I stopped finally seeing his face.
He looked guilty and sad even, I felt really worried so I decided to ignore this for now and took his hands.
" Jin you need to tell me what's wrong." I said rubbing the back of his hands.
" Y/n I'm sorry but I can't- " he said sighing and putting his hands away from mine, and shifting them to his pocket.
" It's okay, we can still date, it's too early to say it anyway, dont worry yourself so much about it jin " I tried comforting him.
Slowly moving my hand towards his hand, I placed it on top, he looked frustrated and took his hands away.
He ran it through his head in frustration.
" Y/n you dont get it. I cant be with you"
His voice was cold.
I flinched a bit but soon regained my composure and sat back.
" Y/n I cheated on someone. With you. " his voice sounded hard in my ears.
Everything felt like it was some kind of cliche k-drama.
" A-are you serious? " I asked him clenching my fists. This was what I hated the most.
He not only played with my feelings but also hurt another girl and I played such a huge part in it.
" I wish I was. Im gonna tell her and beg for her forgiveness. I love her y/n- Look what I did with you, she didnt deserve this, It was a mistake. That's all it was. Let's end this, please. " he said.
I felt numb, thanfulky he did it before my feelings got any deeper, I didnt say anything for a while.
" It's okay jin. You can go. I can think of it as just a fling. Can you apologize to her on my behalf? Or can I do it myself? " I asked.
" Thank you so much y/n, I will do it. " he said and left without even touching the americano.
" It was a mistake " these words kept hurting me somehow, seeing him leave so easily.
