Jealous

The Avatar and his girlfriend arrived back from a trip to Ember Island, his Air Acolytes gathered in a group before him. Then one of them came over to him, "Avatar, I need to speak to you later!" She said, he nodded. "Come on Sweetie, lets go inside." He said to his girlfriend, she joined him. The water bender put down her bag, "Finally home." She said, stretching. "Yep, now I better speak to Ming about whatever it was." He told her, she nodded and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

He arrived in his Air Acolyte's room, she was wearing a very revealing short dress. He put his hands over his eyes as he has a girlfriend, and because he wasn't expecting it. She put his hand down, but he just stared into her eyes. She forced him to look down, yet he looked up again. "Min-" He got interrupted, she made it seem like he had delved into the kiss even though he didn't. His girlfriend then came to check on him, but at this sight her heart sunk and she ran.

He eventually was able to back away, then ran after her. She was crying on some grass, under an apple tree. "Sweetie!" He shouted, she ignored him. He gave her a kiss, she delved into it with tears in her eyes. "What's wrong?" He asked, "WHAT'S WRONG?! My boyfriend just cheated on me! That's what's wrong Avatar Aang." She shouted, he was shocked. At this point in their relationship they never called each other by their names anymore. But she also used his title...

"Sweetie, please. I didn't even kiss her!" He pleaded, she then went. "We're going on a break, that way you can kiss whoever you please." She said, mad. "Okay..." He said, solemnly. He just wanted her to be happy, if that made her happy he'd do it. He then rested for a bit, tears coming in the meanwhile. As it was six years since the war ended he decided to do a celebration, all of his Air Acolytes came. Much to his anger, Ming was one of them who was coming. 

Sitting round some logs, the Air Acolytes sat down. He began to fire bend a fire for warmth, three of them clapped. He smiled, he felt like his people were finally back. Most of the Air Acolytes got some marshmallows on sticks on heated them and ate. "How about we have a story, Avatar?" One asked, "Yes please!" Another agreed, he nodded. "This is a real legend, I mean I went through it but I wasn't alone thankfully. I was with friends and singing nomads." He stated.

He began, "It started six years ago, I needed to go to Omashu because my friend King Bumi was there. We needed a shortcut however, some singing nomads actually came our way. Anyway, in the cave which was the Cave of Two Lovers. We got separated from my best friend, Sokka and the nomads. It was just me and my, at the time, friend Katara, we explored it. Then we found a way out, the way was by letting love lead the way!" He said, "But how?" One  Air Acolyte asked.

"When we were running out of light, we were clueless but then an idea popped into her head. She asked me, 'What if we kissed?' I was all for it, but I messed it up and said 'I'm saying I'd rather kiss you than die.' I was stupid so I added, 'It's a compliment!' Then shortly after we moved closer to each other, until we...well kissed." He said, Ming gave him a big kiss on the cheek even though he despised that. She smirked, thinking: "He's mine now."

It was obvious, the water bender was jealous. Why wouldn't she be? Her boyfriend was getting kissed even if it wasn't on the lips. She appreciated him talking about both of their's first kiss, yet it was the bare minimum. All she wanted in that moment was to kiss him, but he probably didn't think of her that way...Anymore anyway, I mean- he had a gorgeous girl there but then there's her. She thought, even though he thought the opposite as her...

The Air Acolytes then went except for Ming, "What do you want?" The Avatar asked, "Please date me instead!" She begged, "No, I am in love with someone else." He says, the water bender went at this. She kissed him, "I SAID NO, MING!" He shouted, she rolled her eyes. "You know you love me." She said, pulling a strap down on her dress. He pushed her away, she brought him towards her then kissed him again. He didn't give it back but she made it seem like he did....

He, in the nicest way he could muster, pushed her away. She then ran to her best friend, "Penelope!" She shouted, she looked at her. "Me and the Avatar are now dating!" She lied, smiling. "OH MY SPIRITS! I'm so happy for you two!" She responded, the seventeen year old smiled. All she could think was, "This may be a lie now but it will be true soon." To be completely honest her best friend, actually completely hated her. Everyone did, they had to pretend though.

The Avatar just sat down, his actual girlfriend walked in. "Go away." She says, he just goes closer to her. She pushes him away, "I love you, Sweetie. You only." He tells her, she rolls her eyes. Then Ming comes, "Aang-y." She says, putting her chin on her shoulder. He eyes her, she kisses him. Again, she makes it seem like he's kissing back. She then wraps her hand round his lower waist making his actual girlfriend cry even more. She then lets go and gives a blunt smirk.

She then goes away, the water bender looks at him. He gives her a long kiss, she gives it back. He puts his hand through her hair, she back away. He pulled her in, she put her hand in the place Ming did. He enjoyed this, secretly. "I'm so sorry for being so jealous." She states, "It's fine, as long as we're ultimately together now I don't care." He replies, then kisses her forehead. "I love you." He says, "I love you, too." She replies, then they have yet another long kiss.

"Ming, I saw the Avatar cheating on you." Penelope said, she ran over to him. He was still kissing his actual girlfriend, "Aang-y, why are you cheating on me?" She asks, he laughs. "You can't cheat on someone, you were never with." He says, then kisses the water bender's forehead near her hair. She then stormed off, they laughed. Afterwards they looked at each other, "I l-" Her words were interrupted by the second kiss in those roughly five minutes time span.
