After a long 9 hours, everyone was going to grab their luggage. Peter caught up with Michelle and Mary.
"Hey have you seen Ned? He got off the plane with Betty and didn't wait for us." Mary asked when she noticed Peter was next to her.
"No- Mr Harrington made me leave last since we were the back row." Peter huffed. Mary absent mindedly grabbed hold of his hand. Which made him feel better.
"I'm excited to ride on the boats to get the hotel. Mr Harrington said we could walk around after we all gets settled in." Michelle said.
That reminded Peter.
Okay part A of step one of the plan. Distract her so I can sneak away and go buy the necklace- Peter
Peter texted Michelle and put his phone away quickly so Mary wouldn't see.
Michelle🦇- yea yea i know your pathetic attempt at being romantic. just don't be gone too long or else she may get worried you left for Spider-Man business.
It's not pathetic? Is it? Don't answer that. And it will be like I didn't leave. If she gets concerned tell her I went to the bathroom or something -Peter

They both quickly put their phones away so Mary wouldn't see. But she was too focused on trying to spot their bags. Peter pulled his camera out right away.
"Hey guys!" Ned shouted standing with Betty. They both walked over to Peter, Mj, and Michelle.
"H-hey guys?" Michelle said awkwardly. Ned and Betty never hung out on their own.
"Oh I think I see my bag, I'll be right back babe." Betty said kissing Neds cheek and left to grab her bag.
"What was that?" Peter asked
"Well Betty and I got to talking on the plane, turns out we have a lot in common! Now we are dating!" Ned said cheerfully.
"What happened to being an eligible bachelor?" Michelle raised her eyebrow.
"Tut tut Michelle. Those were words of a boy. A small innocent boy. But now, I'm a man. A man who is with a strong independent woman." Ned said patting Michelle shoulder and she instantly pushed it off.
"Ned she doesn't like being touched remember." Mary scolded.
"Right sorry! Well I'll see you guys at the hotel. Betty and I are going to sit next to each other on the boat." Ned said.
"Are you coming babe?" Betty called out walking towards the boat outside.
"Yes babe!" Ned called back.
"I think I just threw up inside my mouth." Michelle said coldly.
"I think I'd break up with you if you kept calling me 'babe' like that." Mary joked and Peter faked a laugh. That scared him for a moment when she said break up. "Okay babe I see my bag." Mary mocked.
"Let me get that for you babe." Peter said in a mocking tone playing along.
"Thanks babe."
