"Oh my god!! I- I can't believe it!! It's Spider-Man." Peter heard someone scream from below him. He cursed, it was Max the janitor. He couldn't just not say hi to the lonely janitor. It would make this poor man's whole life."H-how are you doing sir!" Peter waved from the roof top. He was on a roof not too far from the OSCORP building. Before, He gave the Doc his Doritos, trying his best to hide his 'little problem'.Than put on his suit in hopes to get home fast. Max didn't say anything. Peter hopped down. "You okay man?"
"Spider-Man." Max whisper shouted. "I- I can't believe it."
"Hey, nice glasses. I used to wear a pair just like it." Peter said trying to be charismatic. He can easily be confident as Spider-Man, at least when he doesn't have a raging boner. Damn It Mj. "You need help getting home? I can walk you home?"
"Yeah, yeah! I would absolutely love that. I am so- Gwen will never believe this!! Can I t-take a picture with you sir?" Max grabbed his phone.
"Yeah of course." Peter said. He put up a peace sign as Max snapped a picture. If iPhone was cracked and broken. Maybe an iPhone 6?
"You have no idea how incredible this is for me Spider-Man! I- I mean I was just telling my best friend I saw a glimpse of your little buddy swinging last night, but I'd never thought I'd actually meet you." Max grabbed Peters hand and shook.
Crap, Peter forgot about Miles. Peter awkwardly put his bag over his groin. He knew he'd be making this mans life 1000 times if he took him home, surely it wouldn't be too far. Especially if he was walking.
Peter was right. He literally lived in the building next to OSCORP. It was a dark and dump, Peter felt bad. Max when on and on about how he couldn't believe it was Spider-Man.
"I mean look at this. I never thought I'd be able to see my reflection in your suits eyes." Peter followed Max all the way to his apartment door. The poor man would not stop talking.
"Whelp this your place?" Peter said.
"Yes but please come inside Spider-Man. I made this painting of you and your buddy!" Max exclaimed but Sirens bellowed down the street. His spider sense was going crazy. Possibly a fire.
"I would love to stay and see it pal, but I gotta go help them." Peter said awkwardly pointing down the hall.
"Oh of course Spider-Man of course. Thank you for everything you do!" The man called as Peter ran down the hall. "Pal wow. I'm Spider-Man's pal."
Great, he thought, of course he had to be hard while being Spider-Man. But he couldn't help but laugh, Mj did this on purpose. He couldn't ignore the sirens though. This is going to be an awkward rescue.
Meanwhile
Mj and Miles had spent the entire day together just messing around. Miles made her try all his (gross) food creations. Mj put a smile on her face and tried her best to keep Miles happy. She knew the fight he had with his dad really upset him.
She had took him out to lunch, spending most of the doing whatever Miles wanted. He ate so much food. Even more than Peter would normally. Probably because he was still going. Getting taller than Peter everyday. Currently, Mj was sitting on the lounge chair while Miles was on the couch.
"Ya know, Peter has that awkward white boy smile." Miles said out of the blue. The office was playing in the background. Neither were really paying attention to it.
"Does he? I don't think I've noticed." Mj chuckled lightly.
"Yeah whenever there's awkwardly silence or something he'll just turn to you with his lips straight. The awkward white boy smile! Like Jim!" Miles pointed at the tv. Jim was in fact making that awkward white boy smile.
