                  Does...does Karen mean that?

G: y-you don't r-really-

K: YOU HEARD ME GEMMA! NOW GET OUT

G: i-...*chuckle* aha you g-got me sis-

K: GET THE HELL OUT! DAMN IT I MEAN IT!

                   The mirrors in the room all shatter at once...FINE SCREW THIS SHIT! SHE THINKS HER POWERS SCARE ME? I feel something in me snap

G: F-FINE! FUCK YOU! DEAL WITH THIS SHITTY EXCUSE OF GETTING OVER A CRUSH YOURSELF!

               I storm out and speed back to the broken bottle. Harley is waiting at the door 

H: is she oka-

G: SHE'S FUCKING PEACHY!

              I push past her and, back behind the bar and get back to work. I start to talk to myself under my breath

G: screw her anyways who needs her. bossy ass bitch-

Maxine POV

              Iris and I stumble into the broken bottle for my gig. I'm late...woah this place is kinda messier then normal

I: ...it's not normally this messy is it?

M: nah...that's weird...normally karen has this place in check

H: oh hey ma you made it!

M: hey harley...where's karen?

H: *huff* hold on running this place ain't easy lemme catch my breath...okay so basically she's not here so Gemma and I gotta run things alone and orders are running behind so get up there and like distract people please

M: oh yeah that's my job *chuckle* hang in there i'm sure it'll be fine

                     I pat Harley on the back while walking away with Iris

I: i wonder if she's okay

M: i'm sure karen's fine...come on

                 The stairs are blocked by people trying to hang out so I hop on to the stage and help Iris by holding her waist and lifting her up. Perfect way to flex if i'm being honest

I: *gasp*

M: *chuckle* i've kinda been working out

Iris POV

                And i've kinda been not eating...i don't know why...it's almost like something won't let me. Anyways Max puts me down on the stage

I: ouch

M: you okay?

I: i um...yeah

                I feel something shot from my hands but when i look at them...nothings there...but i swear i felt something. Suddenly the lights go out

G: UGHHH HOLD ON I GOT THIS EVERYONE

                 I see Gemma hold her hands up and everything freezes

M: woah

G: wait how the hell aren't you two frozen?

I: i don't know

M: maybe cause everyone else is kinda from this time and we're from a era before we we're made are something? 

I: ... max that's kinda sma-

G: stupid but yeah sure

M: *sigh*

I: *whispers* hey...i think it's a brilliant theory 

M: thanks

G: ANYWAYS

                     She snaps her fingers and a portal appears in front of her. We see a house on the other side

G: SHATTER!?! YA IN THERE!?!

S: *gasp* oh hey gem-

G: GET IN HERE WOULD YA!?!

S: oh um okay

                    Shatter jumps thru the portal and looks around. She goes to hug Gemma but gets pushed away

G: hurry up would ya? i can't hold it for much longer

S: hurry up and w-what?-

G: LIGHTS IDIOT! COME ON we don't have all day i know you can do something about it

S: *gulp* i...o-okay

M: *whispers* oh no

I: what?

M: she's never called shatter anything like that...and also she brought her just to use her? i think somethings up

Shatter POV

                      Did i do something wrong?...i quickly run over to the light panels and see...what the? there's red stings with needles tangled and stabbing thru the wires...i can't seem to figure out how to fix the issue so i use my energy and transfer it to the lights themselves...man...man i'm beat...i'm draining my own energy for this...but it's for gemma so i don't mind...but i'm going to have to stay here for the energy to stay in the air till we fix whatever this is...i fall to my knee but keep my hand on the panel...how much energy does this place need? The lights turn back on and everything unpauses
