Shatter POV

               The fact the lights flickering aint helping. 

G: look well um...i dont know much of how you could be feeling...but i know what makes people feel better when their scared...whats your favorite movie-

S: harry potter

G:...is it really?

                    what? no one ever asked that. they just accept that one...something tells me she can tell its not really my fav.

S: *gulps* its um...i-it's *mumble* d-dumbo

G: what?

S: d-dumbo

G: dumbo? the disney mov-

S: yes

G: oh...cool okay um well wait here

                         She turns on the tv in front of us and leaves. The trailers before the movie start playing, she comes up with popcorn and sits next to me. The movie starts and she starts munching some...i look at it

G: well come on its for ya aha

S: o-oh thanks

                       She scoots closer and i grab some. I feel an arm go around me and i jump a lil

G: *moves arm away* right sorry um yeah that was weird 

S: u-um no i was just shocked...i kinda liked it

G: oh

                    She does it again and i lean back onto her. This is nice. It gets to my favorite song "pink elephants on parade" 

Gemma POV

                     The lights all shut off and black lights turn on somehow. I look at Shatter whos smiling warmly. Colors start changing to the beat of the song...woahh i didnt know this was part of her powers. It ends and she stops. She looks at me smiling

G: fav part huh?

S: y-yeah aha

                      ...i feel like this is the best time to ask her...i'v wanted to ask for a bit but i dont know how. She turns back watching to movie.

G: *clears throat* um S-Shatter?

S: mhm?

G: u-um i was wondering-

                           That pretty racist scene with the birds starts to play as she looks at me. I get lost in her eyes for a sec

S: yeah?

G: o-oh right um w-well *gulp* i k-know i kinda a-annoy you and all...i was j-just wondering if m-maybe you'd give me a chance

S: for w-what?

G: i-

                           okay come on just like 3 words. spit it out

G: i l-like you

S: w-what?

                              The tv pauses and lights stop flickering

G: i like you...like i like like you...a-and i was wondering if m-maybe we could go on a real date 

                      I close my eyes getting ready for rejection. 

S: y-...yeah

G: huh? *opens eyes*

S: i-...G-Gemma the truth is i'v liked you for a w-while but i mean look at me...yanno. So i'v never t-tried to talk to you. when you started talking to me i thought maybe it was a joke so i'd try to scare you away but unlike others you'd never really get scared. I was trying to push the idea that i like you away

                           shes not glitching...shes just normal. I'm so in shock.

S: so y-yeah Gemma...Gem i'd like to go on a date sometime

G: i...r-really? like really really? like not joking around or messing with me? you'd actually go out with me even after i scared you like that?

S: yeah...not your fault im a scaredy cat

G: s-so um-

                          She nuzzles into my neck and i feel myself heat up.

S: *mumbles* dont get all sappy on me

G: *chuckle* ...yeah yeah 

                        I can't believe it...she said yes. I need to think of a real date. For now though this is great. She pulls the blanket up and we finish the movie. Once its done she hugs me, i get up and drive home. I walk into my room, change and lay in my bed while falling asleep.
