                 I walk into the bar to try and clear my head a lil...it's not the same though without the broken girls working and stuff. I sit and get a soda float when the front doors get kicked open

Gab: this is the broken bottle...normally the broken girls are running it but well...i'll explain later...anyways pardon

              I look over to see the mayor trying to explain shit to...OH it's the newbie!...they have bangs, she's my exact height. I walk up to the as Gabrielle hands her a usb. The girl stops and stares at me...i stare back. She walks up so we're face to face...we look each other up and down, walk around each other, squint all tough like and cross our arms...then we both laugh and rub the back of our necks

M: *chuckle* name's max, so you're the newbie huh? 

Alan: aha hell yeah name's Alanis!

M: sick name! so ya a rocker?

Alan: fuck yeah 

M: tight!

                   He give each other this cool handshake as if we've been friends for years and had a secret handshake...i can already tell we're gonna be pals

Alan: Gabs says you're the best singer huh?

M: i mean i like to think so aha

Gab: normally when a newbie arrives we let them preform their song

M: oh yeah! come on i'll set up-

Alan: you got a gotuar around here?

M: yeah over there

                  She grabs it and slings it over while i start her song...wait i know this song...it must be a cover cus this is "you oughta know" by Alanis Mor-...ooooooh now i get the name-

Alan: I want you to know, that I am happy for youI wish nothing but the best for you bothAn older version of me

                  Oh damn...she's good...like better then Iris but then again i'm into rock...she has great stage presence to...damn i might have some real competition like i mean real this time. She finishes and i start clapping

Alan: DAMN! i'm good aha

M: yeah yeah don't get too cocky aha

                I look over at Gabrielle who's jaw is dropped in awe. Alanis hops off the stage and closes Gab's mouth my pushing her jaw up with her middle finger

Alan: careful you can catch a fly like that *chuckle* welp it was nice meeting ya Max

M: yeah...it's nice to have some competition in the singing game

Alan: yeah yeah...come on Gabs

                 Gabrielle shakes her head and yanks herself back into reality as Alanis slings her arm over her shoulder in a friendly way to walk them out...Gab's blushes...oh she's got it bad aha and the thing is i really don't think Alanis sees her more then a bud, though she's only been here less then a day...but damn i feel for Gabrielle. I drink my soda float and walk out to my motorcycle...i get a phone call-

M: hey?

I: hey babe~

                   Why she sound like that? is it cus i told her i like her? oh whatever i playfully say back

M: how's it hanging baby girl?~...ight but seriously aha look um *clears throat* look iris you're great really but with everything going on right now just...don't push anything okay? i really wanna love you 

Iris POV

                And i want her to love me...no one else...i want her

I: i was wondering if later we could ummmm just talk 

M: well...*sigh* honestly i'd love to...i just need to clear my mind a lil more

I: oh i can help with that~

M: uh...um well uh...i'll be there a lil later ight? i'ma just yanno relax best i can 

                  She hangs up and i drive over to someone i want to question...Ruby's place. I see Violet walking in...
