Alan: uh...uh here here m-maybe this'll help?
She pulls my comforter from behind me while i cry and puts it over my our heads. She wraps mainly me and some of her that i'm holding close into a cocoon...she goes from kneeling into a squat and puts our foreheads together and i close my eyes-
~~~flashback~~~
Astra: hey hey hon come on it'll be okay you got his-
Gab: how? i don't know how to handle being the mayor. So i'm the oldest character they simply put me into the chair once more characters come and say "good luck" i don't understand...and h-how would i know how to divide districts and such...i c-can't do it i don't-
Astra: hey here
Astra comes up from behind with the comforter to out bed and wraps me in it making me warm...she lays me on the bed and joins me inside. She puts my forehead to hers and i begin to relax
Astra: there's my cutie
Gab: *happy sigh*
Astra: you'll figure it out
She puts a hand on my check and holds me close
Astra: you'll be the best mayor...i know you will
Gab: ...i hope you're right
We hug for a while and i feel her chest tense up under my hand. She quickly gets out from under the covers and sits up while coughing roughly...I sit next to her and rub her back worried
Astra: *cough* a-aha...i-i'm fine hon
Gab: i still think we should get this checked out Astr-
Astra: *cough* n-nah *clears throat* i'm fine hon really...just like you'll be...
She wraps us in a cocoon again and puts our foreheads together
Gab: i promise
~~~end of flashback~~~
I open my eyes again and some of the crying has subsided...i listen to Alanis's attempt to comfort me
Alan: i know i hardly fucking know you...i know i come across like i don't care and...heck maybe i don't but like...i mean you're the first person i met so like you're kinda special to me in a way...i'm sorry ya lost her, i'm sorry i brought it up...and sorry i'm *chuckle* probably not helping
She goes to pull away and i grip harder onto her
Gab: n-no no...y-you have no c-clue how m-much t-this means to me right now
Alan: oh uh...ight...then i'll stay a lil longer
She moves her arms behind me a lil so she can rub my upper back while we hug. I see her looking to the side awkwardly as we hug so i move my head from hers to her neck...she leans her head onto mine a lil...it's been so long since i've been held like this...i finally push her away lightly
Gab: *clears throat* i-i'm so sorry
She stands up and cracks her back and neck
Alan: it's uh...it's fine honestly uh so um
Gab: w-we'll i-
Alan: i can li-
Gab: oh
Alan: *chuckle* sorry you first
Gab: no no you
Alan: nah come on ladie's first
Gab: i insist
Alan: come on just
G: okay so-
Alan: ight fine so-...ppfftt HAHAHAHA okay okay i'll shut up you talk aha
G: *giggle*...well i uh better warn you my pjs are um odd
Alan: hey i'm sleeping in my shirt and boxers i don't really mind
I go change in the bathroom into my laundray like in my video...it's what i sleep in yes. I walk out and see Alanis already laying down on the sofa...she turns to me as i turn off the bathroom lights
Alan: woah wasn't expecting that aha
Gab: *chuckle* not many people do
I notice how strong her legs look...we say goodnight and i drift sleep
Maxine POV
M: ight Iris honestly t-this has been great but i s-should *hiccup* get home
We had about two beers...well Iris had one and couldn't down the other so i had three...i'm kinda drunk
I: aww come on one more? for me?
She flutters her eyelashes at me and i roll my eyes
M: alright alright*chuckle* on more...then i gotta go baby girl
