D: e-excuse me, my name's devin, ma'am

F: hm? oh hello, how may i help you devin?

D: you're a librarian right?

                          I flip my id over because it wasn't facing the right way

F: oh, yep, i'm faith, the lead librarian actually

D: oh...c-cool...um i was wondering if you could show me where the books on guns are?...f-for a school project 

                               A school project...about guns?...i'm sure if hope was here she'd crack a joke-

D: um, odd combo but yes i can lead you to them

                             This kid has to be at least seventeen 

F: w-what kind of school project are you working on?

D: um, just a history project on uh...OH the second amendment

F: oh, so would you like me to show you the history se-

D: nope nope guns are good...i mean they're bad, but yanno i a-already got most of the history down

F: oh okay well...here you are

D: thanks

                            Should i worried?...no i'm sure it's fine-

*ring*

                             I hear a group of people "shhh" me so i walk out before picking up

F: hey sweetheart

J: oh thank God you picked up, i thought you'd have your phone on mute

F: i forgot

J: okay look i'm coming to pick you up, something turned up

F: oh...what is it?

J: i'll...i'll catch you up when i pick you up

J: see you in a couple minutes 

                          I tell the other librarians i have to go and i wait outside for Jade. I hop into the chair, jade leans over and kisses me on the cheek

J: hey sweetie

F: hey...so what is it?

J: oh right, yanno i wouldn't get you out of the library if it wasn't for a good reason, i know you enjoy the quiet

F: mhm

J: well um as i'm sure you've been seeing in the group chat things are getting kinda...

F: weird?

J: to put it lightly but...um it got worse

F: what do you mean?

J: well um we...think...iris somehow attacked shatter thru the phone...my guess is maybe Iris got to ruby too? but they hardly interact... i mean i haven't even seen ruby in a LONG time...along with violet

                      I hope they're not connected or anything...do you think ruby would...

F: oh, i hope violet's okay

J: violet?...what about ruby?

F: well yes but maybe if they were gone the same amount of time ruby could have to do with it...after all-

J: after all what?

F: well...they're an unstable

J: ...

F: i mean w-who knows when one of them could go...well yanno...

J: *chuckle* yanno, what? strong? *gulp* c-capable? independent?

F: well no...i m-mean yes of course they are anyone can be that, they're just unstables...they can't control themselves sometimes...they're...scary and unpredictable-

                           Jade jerks the car to a stop once we arrive at the pink motel

J: ...i'm an unstable...or did you forget that?

                              Oh shoot she's right. I forgot...oh crud i messed up

F: oh sweetheart i didn't mean it lik-

Hope POV

                             I'm on my lunch break chilling when see lexies car. It drifts to a stop as she rolls the window down...

L: PINK MOTEL. NOW

H: like...now no-

L: YES NOW NOW

H: oh SHIT OKAY

                        I don't ask. I just quickly lock up and get into the car as i try to finish my sandwich

H: what's the sitch?

L: that bitch got shatter

H: oh shit

L: also faith wants you so yanno killing two birds with one stone...kinda

                          I can tell she's worried bout her sister

H: hey...i'm sure she'll be okay...okay?

L: i-i'm just so worried i...you don't get what could happen when...when w-we get e-emotional or...o-or hurt things get m-messy i-

                     I hand her the inhaler...she takes a puff

H: you're just like anyone else...hell if faith got hurt i'd go CRAZY, but this is bout shatter right now
