              I go wet a towel while she watches pokemon on the sofa. I told her it best to lay down and try to get some rest

D: here 

               I carefully put it on her forehead

A: it's c-cold

D: i drained it as much as i could...besides that's kinda the point

A: *sigh* i hope i get better before tomorrow

D: hey if you don't its okay-

A: i promised the mayor i'd be on the sex positivity float...i can't let her down

D: hey she'll understand

A: i don't know-

D: hey ...don't worry so much about it okay? focus on getting better in a way that's healthy 

Rose POV

           Gabrielle and I are going over all the preparations for tomorrow in her office. I'm explaining the schedule when she puts her hand up

R: what? do you think we should switch this float-

G: its not that

R: what? do you not like the route? because we can make em take a different way-

G: that's not it either

R: oh...what is it?

G: i'm worried

R: about?

G: *sigh* rose you and i both know this town hasn't had its fair share of hate crimes

R: oh

G: what if someone targets the out performers? or lgbt couples? or the unstables and then t-they get triggered an-

R: well...hopefully that won't happen...we have security anyway on ever block and that will be on the floats 

G: i'm still concerned...i'm the mayor rose i have to keep my people happy and safe

R: i know i know and you do a great job

G: if it wasn't for you i don't think i'd be able to keep up...i think your by FAR the best assistant i'v had

                      That makes me smile...its nice to know she values me...even if she'd never feel the same as i feel to her. It was a gradual climb...working for her let me start to see the real her

Sam POV

S: i don't know nix i'm nervous

P: your just gonna ask them...besides it's tomorrow you shouldn't worry about it now

S: s-still like what if they say no? w-what if they don't wanna be friends? then what?

P: hey allie and mads are some of the happiest people in this town most the time

                   Oh i KNOW. Even before they were together they always seemed to have a smile on their faces...but...i don't know i just don't know

P: you'll be fine besides it's a party you'll enjoy yourself anyways

S: that's not the point...i wonder what they're doing now? knowing Maddie they're probably shopping for a new dress and collared shirt...should i dress good for the party? maybe a tie?

P: *chuckle* i'v really never seen you so worked up about something...are you sure you JUST wanna be friends?

Maddie POV

                At about I fuck you not 152 pushups Allie finally can't push herself back up and slaps the floor 3 times

A: a-alright *huff* lex...ya win this time

L: fucking *huff* told y-ya

H:...that's $20

Mad: ugh here

            I hand Hope $20 and get to Allie who's trying to get up

A: I'm sorry s-sugar

Mad: hey no it's fine Allie come on your beat

A: y-yeah

      I put her arm over my shoulder, help her over to a bench and hand her a water bottle which she starts to chug. I see Hope offer to help Lexi but she gets up alone and stumbles to get powerade from her back pack

L: m-man what a workout

H: ya did great Lex

L: *chuckle* thanks Hope
