Shatter POV

               I'm on my sofa flipping thru channels. Gemma keeps trying to talk to me...she told me to just try fnaf so i told her i'd get a book to shut her up. The door opens and Lexie walks in throwing a book at me.

L: there

S: oh c-cool so this is it?

L: Hope says its the first book so i assume so

S: Hope?

L: yeah apparently she's the one who runs the comic book store

S: oh

L: anyways ima go work

                     She leaves...yeah "work" okay. Construction now THATS a job...but not the "work" she does while shes free. I dont know about others but i dont really count letting people gamble on if ya can kick someones ass work but whatever. About an hour passes as im reading when i hear a knock...what on our door? I get up and slightly open it.

G: hey Shatter

S: o-oh um hey G-Gemma-

G: come on i'v told ya call me Gem

S: what you doing here Gemme

G: well look Best Buy is still hiring for Geek Squad

S: whoopie

G: come on i'll drive ya there just give it a shot

S: *rolls eyes* look if i do it will ya stop bothering me about it?

G: yeah sure

S: ughhhhh fine

G: hell yeahhh

                 I walk to her car and get shotgun.

G: so ya got the first book?

S: lex got it for me at the comic store

G: cool cool so um would this be your-

S: first real job?...*sigh* if they by some miracle accept me then yeah

G: thats um...tough

                   nah shit

S: yeah

G: well um first thing is um...dude ya kinda gotta stop scaring people

                    I do a 360 with my neck and then look at her

S: nahhhh really now?

G: im serious not everyone can handle...

S: me?

G: the vibe

S: what?

G: you push people away

S: yeah and it normally works-

G: its not cool though...like i think your dope and honestly wouldn't mind hanging with ya

S: r-really?

G: yeah dude i think your cool...and i wanna get to know ya

                   She puts her hand behind my chair to back up into a spot. She licks her gem making it shine in the sun. I'll admit...shes kinda good looking or whatever. She pulls in and i open the door

G: break a leg dude

S: thats only for theater

G: oh...um aha good luck

Gemma POV

              After about an hour i walk into the Best Buy and see Shatter saying bye to someone...shes smiling. Wow it's slightly creepy but her smile is kinda cute in its kinda unsettling way. She sees me and runs up to me. I brace for impact and she...hugs me while glitching out a lil

S: I d-did it y-you were right 

G: about what?

S: i g-got the job

G: wait REALLY? thats great Shatter

S: t-thanks! t-the boss just said i'll be in the back since i'm kinda scary but its okay cus i'll get the more advanced jobs

G: thats amazing 

                     She pulls away and fixes her clothes. I swear shes blushing.

S: y-yeah well um *clears throat* so um...w-what now?

G: i dont know...wanna go home

                     She looks at me then at the floor. She got sad for a sec.

S: u-um yeah right that'd be b-best-

G: hey *puts hand on shoulder* look Shatter if ya dont wanna be stuck at home i can like hang

S: i w-wouldnt wanna bother ya besides...yanno

                         I look around and notice people are staying away from us...i look up and see the light above us flashing.

G: hey nah its fine dude ya cant control that anyways...people gotta get used to the strange or unusual

S: ya t-think im strange?

G: nah i dont but others do i guess...how's about we head toooo...OH i got it the arcade

S: me? in a arcade?

G: trust me okay

S: o-okay

                   We walk to the car and she reads the book while i drive.
