Maxine POV

                 I wake up to a ring...what the hell is that? i didn't set a alarm. After a bit is stops and i close my eyes again...then it starts again

M: UGHHHH what the hellllllllll i didn't set a alarm...i never set an alarm

                  It rings again and i pick up my phone...its iris

M: *yawn* hey iris what-

I: u-um they told me to call you or they'd scream at ya...your i'm kinda a lil... late

M: mmmm late for what?

I: the meeting for pride day you were all hyped for yesterday?

M: meeting?...OH SHIT THE MEETING THANKS IRIS SEE YA IN LIKE 5 MINS

                  I jump outta bed and change. No time to worry about doing my bed i'll do it when i come back. I brush my teeth and hair, run out to my motorcycle and drive at about 70, on the 50 mph streets by the way...YEAH i know bad Maxine bad whatever, and make it there in about 3 minutes. I kick open the door

M: i'm *gasp* oh God gimme a sec but i'm here *huff*

I: oh great your here

M: hey iris...where is everyone?

I: oh they're all outside going over the plans i just decided to wait for you

M: aw thanks bud...alright well i better not be more late then i am lets go

I: right this way...and don't worry max like they say "better late then never" yanno?

M: *sigh* yeah i guess

                   She leads me out to the back and i see everyone in the back parking lot...hey wheres the old tree-

G: Maxine you finally made it 

M: yeah sorry i forgot to set a alarm...again

L: honestly we didn't expect ya to be on time

H: *chuckle* yeah max chill were used to it

                     i know they are...and i hate it. They don't really ever hold me to high standards because i could never reach them anyways

G: anyways iris, maxine come here

                     We walk over to the table and rose shows us the mayors plans

R: so you both'll be on the rock and roll float got it?

M: well...i mean we ain't really rock and roll songs

R: yes well Maddie already said she'd be fine on the art and music float and sure you are i mean iris kinda is 

I: thats right

R: and you've sang rock songs before at the broken bottle

M: yeah i guess

R: great also a plus Max...you play electric guitar pretty well beside the people love you

M: *sigh* yeah

                   So much for trying to get people to see me for more then just the singer 

R: alright now you both go to that float over there and on of the workers will start going over the plans for that float now excuse me. Hey me Jade, Dante a word about the flowers in this section

                  We start walking over to the rock and roll float

M: sheesh someones bossy 

I: well she is the mayors assistant i'd guess it's not a easy job

M: yeah but still yanno *yawn* m-man i got outta bed so fast aha

Ri: hi i'm rico you must be iris and maxine?

I: yep that me

M: ya know it

Ri: alright so for this float-

                 We go over the plans and where the parade is gonna be so we can get the more performances yade yade yade blah blah blah singing ughhhhh so many words. I see Iris with a lil note book writing down everything while i just record it with my phone so i can go over it later

Ri: OH also so are any of you two out?

I: what you mean out?

M: like...sexuality?

Ri: yeah the butterfly girls are in charge of basing your outfits off your sexuality and or pronouns you need to write them on this list since i'm also in charge of getting them to Daffodil by the end of the day...OH excuse me i have to go over this with the mayor here you can fill it out while i'm gone
