        GET OUT OF MY HEAD PLEASE...can i tell you something? NO you're not the first target...the more hate in this town there is the stronger i get...why do you think things have been so odd since you came here? what? they HATE you-

                Okay okay okay think Max...what can you do? All evidence leads to Iris i don't...

                 I hear a car roll up and see Maddie and Allie walk to the front door...Mads hands Allie the keys and walks to me clearly able to sense how tense i am right now. She looks up at me

Mad: hey

M: would you have walked up to me if i was okay?

               I feel myself start to choke back tears again. I sit on the hood of a old car and put my head in my hands...i wanna help i really do i'm just not smart enough to figure something out. Maddie sits next to me on the hood and lays her hand on my shoulder. I look up from my hands and at her

Mad: i was...i was just blinded by rage when i saw sam hurt and i knew it had to be iris but i didn't think about much after she'd be put in jail or something...i didn't know...how bad this would turn out-

Mad: u-uh...w-well um i'm just g-gonna goooo...i'ma guess the mayor's gonna call one of us instead of Iris...so uh...yeah

                   She hops off the hood and walks into the motel...she's right though...someone has to i guess show the newbie around...but it won't be me i don't think i can...now that i think about it maybe if...if i never showed iris around...none of this would've happened

M: ...maybe it's for the best i...i try not to love her
