CHAPTER 43

"Alright! Everyone, obviously you guys enjoyed the party. So please allow me to have a toast."

Itinaas ko 'yung wine glass na hawak ko.

"Again, I'm so grateful that everyone is coming to my party tonight. So, for a better experience." I heard them whispering, looking excited about what words I would say next.

"I will allow everyone to choose their own partner just for tonight, and do what they want for 15 minutes. Anything at all, as in anything, be open-minded and let everyone feel the warmth because the weather is a little chilly." I chuckled as I shook my wine glass. "So let's make the party more fun."

I smirk. Everyone is excited, looking at their eyes.

"The timer starts now. Let's go!" So I drank my wine and so did they and they started choosing their partner for this night.

Napatingin ako kay Dom nang dagsain siya, natawa ako sa kaniya dahil bakas ko sa reaksiyon niya ang pagtataka.

Kalaunan ay may napili rin siya.

"Be happy everyone!"

My last words bago ko binigay ulit sa emcee 'yong mic, may dinagdag 'yong emcee sa pinagawa ko sa mga bisita na hindi ko gaano narinig dahil kanina ko pa hindi nakikita si Blare, hinanap ko siya agad.

"Nakita niyo ba si Blare?" tanong ko kay Ada.

"Ay, hindi." Tumingin siya sa paligid. "Oo nga 'no, wala s'ya dito." Tumingin na siya ulit sa akin sabay inom sa wine glass na hawak niya.

"Baka nand'yan lang," tinanguan ko si Mark, at tinuon na lang ang sarili sa mga bisita.

Maybe Blare wanted to get some air.

Everyone is enjoying my rule now. Everyone is getting to know each other. Some are playing randomly, some are talking about random things, and some are making sure that the 15 minutes I gave them are worth it. The fire is burning!

I know it will be fun more. It's already late at night, but everyone is still on their hype to continue this party, although some have already told me they need to go home earlier, and I allowed them.

I saw Zoe so happy.

When our eyes met, she smiled at me, so genuine. I like seeing that smile on her. I'm hoping that she never loses that smile again, sila ni Chloe. They are both happy now and living their lives happily.

Mayamaya nang matapos ang oras na binigay ko sa kanila, nagkanikaniya na ulit sila ngunit kalahati rin ng mga bisita ko ay nagpaalam na sa akin na uuwi na, I allowed them. I mean, it's already 4 a.m.

"Bye, Leigh and Pao. Take care!" Pumasok na sila pareho sa kotse ng boyfriend ni Leigh. Kumaway naman muna si Leigh sa akin bago sila tuluyan umalis.

Nagsiuwian na rin 'yung iba kaya ang natira na lang sa bahay ngayon, kami nila Andrea, Zoe, Chloe and some of our classmates. They are still enjoying my party, sila 'yung matatatag sa inuman.

Si Dom naman ay nandoon pa rin sa p'westo namin kanina, mag-isang umiinom. Hindi ko na siya nabalikan kanina pagkabalik namin ni Mark galing yard dahil hinatak ako ng mga bisita ko sa bawat grupo nila, nakipagkilala ako sa mga hindi ko pa kilala.

"What's up? I saw you earlier, they all want you." I teased him kaya natawa siya.

"I was shocked, you know. I thought I did something wrong or what? I panicked, and yeah, I chose Nicole among them. I think she has the same vibes as me." He is smiling.
