(Special Chapter)
CHLOE
"I'm full, Chloe. I don't want to eat."
I rolled my eyes. Here we go again.
"Fine! Do you think you're losing weight by starving yourself?"
She shot me a sharp look, and I met her gaze with the same intensity. She's being a brat again.
"You're acting just like Mom. I'm done with the lectures. Besides, I'm chewing my gum..."
"I'm sorry," I softened my gaze. "I'm just worried about you. You didn't eat dinner last night, and now—"
I didn't get to finish what I wanted to say when she suddenly stopped walking in the corridor. I was about to ask her, but then I saw a guy entering the school gate.
Who is that?
"Chloe, look at that guy—"
I stopped her. "Who?" I raised an eyebrow, hoping she wasn't referring to the guy I was thinking of.
"That guy holding hands with another guy." She glanced at me. "Are they boyfriends?"
I shrugged. "I don't know." I felt a wave of relief. I thought she was talking about that hot guy they were with.
I stared at the guy—was he real? Why did I feel something strange in my chest and stomach? It was a sensation I hadn't felt before, something completely new to me.
"I'll follow them," she said.
I snapped back to reality when I heard that. I was against it!
"No, you won't follow them," I shot her a glare.
"Whatever!"
Of course, she didn't listen to me. I rolled my eyes, letting her do whatever she wanted. It was clear that's what she wanted. I was just waiting to hear about her experience later.
I headed to a coffee shop nearby and decided to relax for a while. A cup of coffee in hand, I settled into the moment. Yeah, this was ideal—a morning coffee, just me and myself.
ZOE
I forced a smile as I blocked his way, causing them to stop. I stared at him—he was so handsome and fine. Why am I just seeing him now? Are they new here? Oh, no! I hope Mommy doesn't find out about them. Or maybe they're just taking business-related courses...
"Uhm..." Oh my God, he's hot! "You're blocking our way. Can you move a bit?" I smiled... Why is he so perfect in my eyes? The way he spoke and parted his lips while talking only made him more attractive.
"Let's go."
That guy... I glanced at him. Is he his boyfriend? This can't be!
They started to leave, but I blocked their path again. I wasn't finished yet.
"Who said you two can just pass by like that?"
They stopped. Just the way I wanted. I fixed my gaze back on him. He was the kind of guy I could stare at all day, his aura just so captivating.
"Ah?" He looked confused—so cute! "Why are you looking at me like that?"
I laughed as I slowly chewed my bubble gum. Wait a minute... Is he scanning me? He's looking me up and down. Do I look good today? I know I'm beautiful today.
