Nagulat ako nang tawagin ako ng prof namin. Hindi ko inaasahan 'yon, napansin atang nakatulala ako kaya ako tinawag.
"Uhm..." tumayo kaagad ako.
"Why are you taking this course? Is it true that you're from the Philippines? Why did you decide to study here?"
Ah... kala ko papagalitan ako.
Last week pa 'to nag-start pero ngayon lang ako tinawag. Tinatanong kami ni Dr. Grey, isa-isa kada-meeting namin sa kaniya. It's my turn now. Tapos na sina Andrea at Mark.
"To be honest, when I graduated from high school, I didn't know where I excelled, what field I was capable of, or if I had any talent. I don't know those, but since I am the youngest among our siblings, my brother and sister have already chosen their own paths, and I still don't know what I want, my Mom and Dad talk to me about pursuing business."
They are listening to me carefully.
"According to my Mom, it's for my own good, so I did. By then, I'd chosen this course. It's kind of pressure on me because it's not only for me who benefited from this but also for the sake of my parents' companies, just like Andrea and Mark said before."
Tumatango si Dr. Grey habang nakatingin sa'kin.
"In fact, I don't have any plans to continue my studies at all, but my best friends push me to continue because they say that college life is still the best part of student life, so I push through this course without any interest. That's all, thank you."
Nakahinga na ako ng maluwag, umupo na rin ako.
"Okay, thank you for that, Mr. Argero. Most of you here based on what you all said are heirs and heiresses of your parents' business. I can assure you. You guys are in good hands." Nginitian kaming lahat ni Dr. Grey.
"Let's proceed now. Yesterday we discussed marketing, so does anyone here know what marketing is based on what we discussed yesterday?" nagtatawag ulit si Dr. Grey. "I think no one wants to volunteer, so I will choose." Mas kinabahan ako dahil nakatingin si Dr. Grey sa gawi namin.
"Mr. Cross, stand up." Napatingin ako kay Mark. Tumayo naman siya agad at nagsalita.
"Yes, Dr. Grey. Marketing is the process by which a corporation promotes the purchase or sale of a product or services,"
Galing ng mahal ko. Kung ako tinawag ni Dr. Grey, hindi ko 'yan masasagot. Hindi kasi ako nakinig kahapon, e. Lutang malala.
"Advertising, selling, and delivering things to consumers or other businesses are all examples of marketing. Affiliates perform some marketing on behalf of a company." Umupo rin siya kaagad pagkatapos niya magsalita.
Ang galing!
"Alright. Very well said, Mr. Cross." Nginitian ni Dr. Grey si Mark.
